Welcome Back
We’re super excited to be launching the newly redesigned FUTWIZ! It’s been a long process behind the scenes but we couldn’t be happier with the results. Not only is the site easier to navigate and use, but we plan on bringing you more content than ever before – starting from today!
I’ll start by going through a couple of the big things that have changed.
Navigation
Probably the most obvious change initially is the navigation; to put it simply we ran out of space for navigation on the old site! We’ve introduced a navigation bar that follows you when you scroll, meaning you won’t have to scroll to the top to start another player search or navigate to another part of the site (one of the biggest requests we’ve had). The navigation also includes space for an embed of our YouTube channel which we’re aiming to relaunch in the very near future – more news on that in the coming weeks!
Squad Builder
Some of our favourite changes here! We’ve built upon the “Favourite Players” feature we had on the old site. When you click on an empty space now, it’ll show you the possible perfect and strong links for that position (you can switch the player you’re linking for on the right).
We’ve also brought back the player list from the FIFA 13 version of FUTWIZ, something we’ve been asked about on a number of occasions (sorry!) This can be found in the green bar of a squad page.
Also making a return is the TOTW Prediction Squad Builder – see if you can beat fifaRAWR at his own game! The Custom Builder has also been updated for FUT16 for all you IF/TOTY dreamers (myself included)
We will still be adding new features to the squad builder in the coming weeks/months, so stay tuned for more on that!
News
We want to be doing a lot more news and articles, to build upon what we’ve already got with fifaRAWR’s Team of the Week predictions. To kick this off we’ve got an article on Jürgen Klopp’s last year at Dortmund by our friend Micho – he’s a Bundesliga fanatic who knows his stuff so I’m really looking forward to seeing what he has to say!
Things to come…
Our Pack Opener will be updated for FUT16 in the future so don’t worry about that one just yet – we don’t even have the full database up! We’ll be adding My FUT Club (for tracking who you own in FUT) for FUT16 at some point next week before Early Access on Xbox One starts along with a few tweaks and improvements along the way…..This is just the beginning!
