The best players for Toughen Up Evolution
EA have released a brand new evolution and we are going to cover everything you need to know about it, including who are the most popular players to evolve as well as some players who are worth checking out and to finish it off a few bonus evolution combinations which combine multiple evolutions chained together.
Firstly, the cost of this evolution is free to complete and the evolution expires in 4 weeks’ time.

As you can see, there is no position requirement for this evolution, allowing you to choose any position providing they first the attribute and playstyle requirements.
The most popular choices for this evolution are:
Silva is the most popular choice and in my opinion the best choice if you are looking for the most useable player out of the pool of players available.
This upgrade gives a huge boost to his pace and passing and his 88 card already felt good in game so this card will be even better. He has 4* skill moves and great links, so he really is a great choice.
Tripper’s 86 rated inform is one of the most popular choices here, the most notable thing is that his pace goes to an 80, which still is a little low for a fullback on this game, however the 95 passing and the Whipped Cross PlayStyle+ makes him become a very viable option, especially for those who like to utilise crossing.
Kante is the other most popular choice right now, the huge boost to his pace and passing is the appeal here as his initial pace was a little too slow, so with these boosts he becomes much more useable. Kante is ideal for those who are trying to run a Saudi League team or looking for a Saudi/French link.
Here are a few other players that are worth checking out:
Douglas Luiz’s 82 rated inform gets an honourable mention, very similar to Kante here as the pace and passing boost bring the card into a very useable position and he already has good links being Brazilian and from the Premier League.
Palacios’ 83 rated inform is very similar to Luiz and Kante, so if you are looking for a CDM from the Bundesliga he is a good option.
And finally, here are a few evolution combinations which are worth checking out:
Sadly Pogba’s gold card is no longer in packs due to him being removed from the game due him serving a ban, however I had to mention this card because if you have him in your club he is an option worth looking at.
You are able to take his 82 rated card through two evolutions and turn him into an 87, and the 87 version looks like an extremely well rounded card.
Muller is a surprise choice he, however when you take him through two evolutions you can take him to an 89, and the 89 has a large boost in pace and passing which makes him far more useable as an attacking CM/CAM.
