Team of the Group Stage brings the first performance rewarding promo of the game cycle. The best players from all the European competitions (Champions, Europa and Conference League) have been combined together to create an immense promo which includes players such as Kylian Mbappe, Jude Bellingham and many more…

And now there is two promos in one as the Women’s Champions League RTTK cards have been released. These cards are upgradeable based on how their team performs in the group stage.

God tier:

Kylian Mbappe (93)- I don’t think it needs to be explained why Mbappe is in God Tier. Year after year he’s the best card in the game and considering his base card is still nearly 2 million coins, of course an upgraded card is going straight into this tier. Good luck if your opponent has him in champs!

Very good:

Bukayo Saka (91)- The addition of Power Shot+ makes this card considerably better than his Road to the knockout card. Saka is also 4* 4* and has had a plus +1 in all stats bar pace compared to his other UCL card. Saka is one of the best right-wingers in the game.

Antoine Griezmann (90)- I wish he had finesse+ instead of Technical+, but Griezmann is still a magnificent card. He stats all round are superb and his multitude of PlayStyles are fantastic and really useful. Another brilliant card for the Frenchman.

Jamal Musiala (90)- This is a brilliant card! Musiala is a terrific option at CAM or CM. His dribbling is unreal and he has 5* skills so trying to tackle him will be a nightmare. He also has an alternate position of LM where he would do a job also. Overall, a very good card.

Patri Guijarro (90)- With the potential for further upgrades, I am a big fan of this card. She is 4* 4* and has brilliant all round stats. She has 6 regular PlayStyles including Finesse Shot and has Long Ball Pass+ which from CM will be very useful. If Patri Guijarro gets a few upgrades, she’ll be incredible.

Jude Bellingham (89)- Bellingham has been a big favourite for everybody in FC24 this year. Now, he’s finally entered Gullit Gang as he’s now reached 80 Pace. Bellingham can pretty much play anywhere as the card is ridiculously well-rounded.

Rodrygo (88)- I’m a massive fan of the upgrade that Rodrygo has received from his trailblazers card. His stats are brilliant and the addition of Dead Ball+ makes him a threat from a variety of situations. Some key stats include 92 finishing, 92 agility, 92 ball control and 91 dribbling.

Julian Alvarez (88)- This is an excellent card. Alvarez has great shooting, amazing dribbling and really good physical stats. The Manchester City striker is 4* 4* and has alternate positions which include striker and right-wing. However, I would recommend playing him through the middle as he would make a very good striker.

Rafael Leao (88)- The Portuguese winger is very quick with 95 pace. For a tall man at 6’2”, he is very agile and matched with some decent physical stats, he’ll be tough for your opponent to defend against. Leao also has very good PlayStyles which include Finesse Shot, Whipped Pass and Rapid+.

Decent:

Joao Cancelo (89)- Cancelo might not be the quickest, but with the Whipped Pass+ PlayStyle and seeing how meta attacking full-backs are, he’ll be a great addition to your squad. He also now has High/High work rates so even if he is just a defensive right-back for you, he’ll be even better than his trailblazer card.

Nicolo Barella (89)- Barella has received a solid upgrade from his Centurion card. Unfortunately, he is still 3* 3* which is a shame, but if this doesn’t bother you, Barella is still a great card with brilliant dribbling stats. He has High/High work rates with 99 stamina, so he’ll be a workhorse in the midfield.

Jonathan Clauss (88)- This is a really decent right-back card and he has the PlayStyles to match. Clauss has Whipped Pass, Anticipate, Relentless and Long Throw+ which are great for a full-back. His defensive awareness and interceptions will probably need a boost with a chem style, but overall, for the price, this is a very decent card.

Phil Foden (87)- The addition of Finesse Shot+ makes this card even better. Foden’s dribbling is great, and his passing stats are solid for a CAM. Personally, I would put a hunter on him as his pace and shooting could do with a bit of work. He also has a 3* weak foot but if you’re not bothered by that, Foden will be fun to use.

Ryan Gravenberch- Gravenberch enters Gullit Gnag with his first special card of the season. The Dutchman can play pretty much anywhere in the midfield, but I reckon he’s best suited as a CM. He hasn’t got any outrageously good stats, but he’s very well-rounded and decent across the board.

Meh:

Mats Hummels (88)- Hummels has an awful pace split with 56 acceleration but 93 sprint speed. He’s also heavy with only 66 agility. Yes, he does have good PlayStyles and very good defensive stats, but there’s definitely better and more balanced defenders on the market.

Magdalena Eriksson (87)- This card has potential with a few upgrades to easily move a few tiers. She already has okay pace and good defensive and physical stats. Saying this, she is 5’ 8” which will be a problem especially when defending against taller strikers.

Tabitha Chawinga (87)- Chawinga feels like she has been released 2 months late. She definitely would have been good in October, but now, she’s a bit behind the power curve. Maybe if she gains a few upgrades it would be a different story, but currently she’s not great.

Laura Freigang (86)- I was going to put her in the fodder tier, but with a few upgrades, I do believe this can be decent card. She is probably more suited to her alternative position of striker, but she has brilliant shooting, okay pace and decent dribbling except agility. Saying this, I can’t currently put her any higher than this tier.

Julie Dufour (86)- Similar to Freigang, with a couple of upgrades, this card will be great. Dufour seems like an ideal super sub as she has 91 pace, 4* skills and 99 agility. However, she hasn’t got great shooting and quite bad physicals.

David Raum (85)- Raum isn’t the worst left-back in the world. He’s had a weak foot upgrade to 3* and has decent dribbling and physical stats. However, compared to the other cards in the “decent” tier though, he isn’t comparable and truly is a bit “meh”.

Fodder:

Mehdi Taremi (87)- Taremi isn’t great for this stage of the game. He has low agility and balance and not the best pace. He does have the Finesse Shot PlayStyle, but he’s also tough to link. For me, I’d give this card a miss.

Victor Boniface (87)- Boniface has been upgraded to a 4* weak foot, but apart from that, he’s not particularly good. His pace split is uneven, he has low agility and balance and overall, I would just steer clear of this card.

Nick Pope (86)- Goalkeeper promo cards are rarely worth a lot. I can see Nick Pope being sat at 86 fodder price for a long time. He has been a favourite amongst keepers along the years which could see him be a little bit more than the average keeper, but even then, he’ll still be cheap.

Hakim Ziyech (86)- Like Boniface, Ziyech has had a weak foot upgrade, but Ziyech is only up to a 3* weak foot. He does however have 5* skills which is brilliant. His stats elsewhere are underwhelming though, and he is very hard to link without icons and heroes.

Luca Ranieri (85)- He’s currently min price and I can’t see that changing to be honest. The card is very average and just doesn’t jump out to me. Ranieri also has an alternate position of left-back but he really isn’t suited for that role either.

Jerdy Schouten (85)- Another card that doesn’t jump out to me. Schouten is so distinctively average. He’s slow, not very agile and can’t shoot. I’d be surprised if he isn’t min price before the end of the week.
