POSITIVES & NEGATIVES

Positives

  • Neuer’s physicality is one of his greatest assets, he has 99 Strength and 99 Aggression, and being 6’4”, this makes him such a physical presence up front and allows him to hold the ball up and bring others into play whilst holding off defenders

  • He is a great finisher when given the chance, he has 97 Finishing with 98 Shot Power and with these combined he is lethal in front of goal

  • He is great in the air, he has 99 Jumping, 99 Heading Accuracy and has the Power Header trait so this makes him extremely dominant aerially

  • He has both of the desirable long shooting traits, these are the Outside Foot Shot and Finesse Shot trait

  • Despite not being the greatest on the ball he does have 5* skill moves which is a nice addition to have to add variety to his attacks

  • He is extremely easy to link to, and he links to a ton of very meta players

  • (New Gen) He has the Lengthy AcceleRATE with most attacking chemistry styles

Negatives

  • The biggest issue with this card is his dribbling, he is 6’4” with his unique body type, and add that to his 85 Agility and 90 Balance he just feels so heavy on the ball, and is much harder to dribble with than most of the other taller strikers

  • He is quite expensive when you consider a lot of the players who I would consider better than him are half of his price, his price seems very much based off of hype more than in game performance

RATINGS

VERDICT

Firstly I want to say that Neuer is a good card, his lethal in front of goal and a physically dominant striker, he is suited for those who like to play with a big target man up top and like to cross a lot, however he does not suit those with a more dribbling heavy play style.

The main positives on this card are as mentioned are his incredible physicality and ability in the air, and the fact his is clinical in front of goal.

The major negative with this card for me was for some reason he felt significantly harder to dribble with compared to other taller strikers such as Lewandowski, Kane, Haaland and even the new Cech card.

Price wise, I think he is holding his price due to hype and supply because personally I think he should be half the price of what he is when you compare him to other of similar or better ability.

Before I give my verdict I want to say, Neuer is a good card and performs very well in game, however he is very play style dependant so wont suit everyone.

As mentioned I think this card is currently way overpriced, so for that reason it is going to be a SWERVE.
