What is Rush? Exploring the Exciting New Mode in EA SPORTS FC25 (FC25)

Rush is an exciting new game mode coming to FC25. In this 5v5 format, you team up with three other players and one AI-controlled player to compete against another team of five.

Is Rush a separate game mode like Volta?

Rush is integrated into existing modes in FC25, these are Ultimate Team, Clubs and Kick Off mode.

Ultimate Team Rush, introduces a fresh approach to building and playing in Ultimate Team. Create your dream 5-a-side team with friends, each selecting your favourite Player Item from your club to control. Compete together in 5v5 matches to earn rewards.

• Not every player is eligible to be selected in the Ultimate Team mode, each week an ‘event’ will specify the requirements of the players you can use (e.g La Liga players only) this is so the game mode can be kept fresh and updated weekly.

Clubs Rush, similar to Ultimate Team however you use your created Pro alongside your teammates using their Pro players to compete against other 5v5 teams. Every win contributes a Victory Point to your Club’s tally and improves your individual Rush rank taking you one step closer to exciting seasonal rewards.

Kick Off Rush, select your favourite club or nation and battle it out against AI or friends locally.

How is Rush Gameplay Different to 11 vs 11 Gameplay?

Rush gameplay at its core is exactly the same gameplay mechanics as 11 aside gameplay, the same movement, actions and skill moves etc, however Rush itself has many very unique features:

• Race to Ball Kick Off – When the game kicks off, both teams have to rush to the ball that is loose in the centre of the pitch, meaning there is no set team who kicks off.
• Blue Cards – A player can be given a Blue Card which essentially replaces a Red Card in standard 11 vs 11, however the player is only sent to a sin bin for 1 minute than can return to play.
• Attacking Third Offsides – A player can only be offside in the final third of the pitch, unlike in 11 vs 11 where it is the opponents half.
• 1 on 1 Penalty Style – There are no standard penalties in this mode, all ‘Penalties’ that occur are played from the halfway line and a 1 vs 1 style with the attacker vs the goalkeeper.

Do you get rewards for Playing Rush?

Rush is a game mode that will allow you to earn rewards in Ultimate Team and Clubs, and these rewards will continuously updating through the life cycle of the game.

When playing Rush you will earn Rush Points, and these points are used to complete weekly objectives in order for you to unlock rewards.

Can you only play Rush with friends or people you know?

Rush has a feature that will allow players to ‘drop in’ to games which will place them into teams which have a space available on their team/in their lobby.

This means that you can either play with friends or solo drop in to games to play with new people.
