RTTK Lemar and RTTK Anguissa - Spend or Swerve

• Positives

  • A very well rounded card, and is extremely versatile

  • Really good left stick dibbling and felt very responsive in game with a Lean body type

  • Very good Nation and League for chemistry links

  • High/High Work Rates, making for a very good box to box midfielder

  • 4* Skills Moves and Outside Foot Shot trait which is very meta right now

• Negatives

  • Low size, strength and aggression is noticeable in the tackle

  • 3* Weak Foot

  • Atletico have some difficult fixtures for the 2 wins and qualification needed for the RTTK Upgrade

PLAYER COMPARISONS – IS HE BETTER THAN?

• IF Modric – Lemar is a much better card, however Modric does have better passing

• De Jong – Lemar is a far superior card to De Jong

• POTM Valverde – Lemar is better offensively, however Valverde is better defensively

• Llorente – Lemar is a far superior card to Llorente

RATINGS

VERDICT

Lemar is a fantastic card and performed exceptionally when using him, he offers a lot going forward and felt very responsive on the ball, he was a very fun card to use.

If Atletico get the two wins required and qualify for the knockout stages of the Champions League he will receive an upgrade to an 88 which be a very good bonus to this card.

Overall I think this card is priced really well for what you get, so for me this is an easy Spend

• Positives

  • Defensively very solid and often comes out with the ball in a 1v1 situation

  • Very good physicality and is dominant in a shoulder to shoulder tussle

  • Reliable short passing, I was able to play quick short passing through him

  • Can changed his AcceleRATE type to Lengthy with a few chemistry styles

  • Already confirmed a +2, and looking good to go to an 87

• Negatives

  • Medium/Low Work Rates is not ideal for a CDM

  • Felt heavy on the ball in comparison to other players, likely due to his body type

  • Has a very difficult nation to link to, will be hard to get 3/3 chemistry points

  • 3* Weak Foot

PLAYER COMPARISONS – IS HE BETTER THAN?

• IF SMS – No – SMS felt better all-round other than defensively where they are very similar

• Barella – Yes – These are similar card however Anguissa is far stronger defensively

• RTTK Bennacer – No – Bennacer is far superior offensively, and I found them very similar defensively

• Tonali – Yes – Tonali is a very good cheap option, however Anguissa is stronger defensively

RATINGS

VERDICT

Anguissa is a very good card and priced well, especially factoring in the two potential RTTK upgrades taking him from an 84 to an 87.

He performs well in game but at times I felt him to be a bit heavy, and his work rates are not ideal.

Overall though, it’s a good card at a good price with his upgrades factored in, so it’s a Spend!
