Player of the Month Prediction — October 2025 (La Liga)
Hello and Welcome to La Liga Player of the Month Predictions for October.
La Liga always bothering me with their release dates for nominees, so this time we’re pre-firing. It’s hard to predict right candidates based on 2 league games, but we’ll try.
Main favorite: Kylian Mbappe. Once again, he continued his solid form with 2 goals and 1 assist in 2 wins this month and should get at least nominee. I wonder what potential price can be for his POTM, but based on his first one – this should be 500-1kk more. Would be, of course, an amazing card.
Next one I have is Pablo Fornals from Betis. They are playing better this season, despite crucial Isco’s injury. They are sitting 5th at the table and not a far off Champions League place. Fornals got 2 assists in a draw against important competitor – Villarreal and got an assist in 2-1 win over Espanyol. Should be at least nominated, if not, to win to it too. Would be cheap 84-85 rated card with some mid stats, that many of us will forget, if they wouldn’t give him custom PS+ like Tiki-Taka. Otherwise it’s 20k card.
Next up I have Ruben Vargas from Sevilla. They surprisingly won vs Barcelona, but then lost the next game. Typical La Liga and it’s not even a big surprise. Ruben still managed to get 1 goal and 1 assist in 2 games and should be nominated. 1 assist vs Barcelona and 1 goal in 3-1 loss vs Mallorca. If he wins – it might be actually nice card, considering he’s 177 cms and has silky dribbling, but still I expect him to be 84 rated card with some nice stats and cheap.
Next up I have is Jorge De Frutos from Rayo Vallecano. Good month from Rayo (so far) with 2 wins in 2 games: vs Sociedad and Levante. De Frutos managed to get 2 goals vs Levante, so he might get a nominee. He just got special card, so potential POTM would be a very similar card for another 20k.
My wildcard pick: Unai Simon from Athletic Bilbao. 1 win and 1 draw so far for them this month, Simon kept 1 CS and got MOTM in that game, but wasn’t anything special vs Mallorca. Still, good record – should be nominee. Potentially cool POTM with 87 rated card and maybe custom Playstyle. We’ll see.
And the last one is Clemens Riedel. Espanyol’s defender managed to get 1 cs and 1 assist in 2 games. Got MOTM in 2-0 win over Oviedo and got nice performance vs Betis in 2-1 loss. Should be enough for POTM nominee, but I don’t know who will they choose. Riedel would be 84 rated POTM with some mid stats and wouldn’t cost much too.
Overall, pretty hard to choose players based on 2 games, but if we go like this – it should be between Mbappe and Fornals. Mbappe would be kinda mad for FUT, but deserved. Fornals – also good guess, so we’ll see.
