Investing Round-Up
Welcome all! This time let’s look at some long term investments that you can make over the next few days.
Firstly, do understand the hold time on all of this and adjust accordingly how much you want to invest:
- Go unassigned
- Only buy one of each to store in the club
It will likely be around a month before we see sizeable returns. Usually the run-up to December is when more and more SBCs start to get pushed out like Player SBCs, Icon Upgrade SBCs etc. However, I do expect major ROI especially on the lower rated cards that I’ve covered below.
To give you a short timeline of content releases last year for the purpose of understanding what makes fodder cards rise, we saw the first three Individual Icon Player SBCs (Figo, Zanetti, van der Sar) on November 20th which slightly boosted the price of fodder but not by a whole lot. Base Icon Upgrade SBC on November 24th which as you’d expect rapidly inflated fodder. Then came Black Friday which meant even more SBCs & the last thing to top it off came on December 14th – Repeatable Base Icon Upgrade SBC. That was around when most fodder peaked around a week later.
But without wasting any more time, here are my top picks!
84s <1.900c

85s <4.500c (currently slightly too high but look at them during pack supply)

83s <800c
Look to do a clubstock of all 83s for 800 coins! Put one of each in your club and wait on it. If you’re looking to buy into it more than just a clubstock, in my opinion 84s are a better move for that purpose.
Aim to do your investing during supply times like promo pack release or rewards to simply make the buying process easier on yourself and not to mention the possibility to buy cards at a discounted rate on snipe/bid!
