How to get free packs and make coins for TOTY in FC 24
TOTY stands as the pinnacle event in the EAFC gaming cycle. With the event just around the corner, this article aims to equip you with invaluable tips and tricks to maximize your coins – before, during, and after the TOTY.
Save Packs Valued at 50K+
If you’re like me, this tip might pose a challenge. If you aren’t actively engaged in trading and reinvesting coins from opened packs, consider saving packs valued at 50K or more. These packs offer the best chance of securing valuable players, essential for boosting your odds of packing a TOTY. Packs under 50K are generally safe to open, as they’re unlikely to contain valuable players. This way, you can complete SBCs that are released while still saving your coins and ensuring liquidity without needing to purchase players for the SBC completion.
Complete Objectives
The most straightforward and cost-effective way to gain XP contributing to your season progression, is by completing objectives. Objectives offer a great means to earn rewards simply by playing the game. While rewards can vary, the highest-valued ones typically come towards the end of the season. Grind those objectives for valuable rewards, these can vary in difficulty and value. Reaching level 35 in the Season progress gives you an 84+ x20 players pack.
Completing the Winter Wildcards Crafting Upgrade Completionist objective requires completing the 80+ x3 player SBC 150 times, rewarding you with an 83+ x20 rare gold players pack.
Complete SBCs
SBCs are released daily, some offering great value and a minimum player rating guarantee. EAFC’s current favourite repeatable SBC is the 84+ x5 upgrade, which can be completed up to 3 times per day. As the market is often at its lowest right before TOTY, it’s advisable to hold these packs until the TOTY is released.
League SBCs are another way to recycle low-rated cards for packs. Save the group completion reward for each of the Premium mixed league upgrade and the mixed leagues upgrade SBCs, as these are the most valuable. Open and recycle the tradeable packs into the league SBCs again while saving the untradeable ones.
Investment Opportunities
As a general rule, the more cards available on the market, the less expensive they become. Hence, investing in high-rated cards during the TOTY release can be lucrative. Use FUTWIZ (https://www.futwiz.com/en/lowest-price-ratings) to monitor ratings and invest when they hit their low point and stop dropping as after this they will begin to rise gradually, Typically 84s-89s are the safest investments.
TOTWs are currently my favourite investment as we constantly see more and more SBCs requiring informs such as player SBCs and repeatable SBCs such as the 84+ x5 as discussed previously. Once they go below 30K I believe that they are a solid investment opportunity with minimal risk.
Sell Desirable Items Before TOTY (STAY LIQUID)
During the TOTY there will be lots and lots of packs opened as a lot of people are saving and or will put in FIFA points because of these players values will be at an all time low, this is why I strongly recommended selling all expensive players in your club before the TOTY is release as players such as expensive promo cards and Mbappe will drop exponentially, you should sell these players off before TOTY and then buy them back after a few days once the market stabilises.
The more coins you have available the more investments can be made so STAY LIQUID.
