FUT 19: Premier League POTM Predictions. March
Let’s discuss Premier League POTM for March.
If we compare March POTM with Previous ones – it’ll be really boring and not so exciting. Let’s see few candidates, who can win POTM and discuss investments.
I have 3 main candidates for an award, but I think the winner is somewhat clear, so let’s get straight to action.
Sadio Mane. Scored 3 goals in 4 games. Went onto consistent run for Liverpool and carried LFC in few games. Scored 2 vs Burnley, 1 vs Fulham. If he’d score vs Everton or Spurs – he’d be a clear favorite, but still, he should be at least a good contender for an award
Chances of POTM: 33%
Tips for investing:
Special Mane card. High risk investment. Every time Mane wins an award – SBC requires Mane card. As it’s April already – I’m expecting Special card. As there’s some choice: InForm, UCL, UCL MOTM. It’s high risk investment and you can just get NIF Mane card, which should rise in price too.
Players from Liverpool: As I expect Mane or other Liverpool player to win an award – I expect LFC Players to rise a bit. Higher rated cards like Firmino and Alisson should rise.
Premier League team: 86-87 rated Premier League team with at least 3 IFs. A lot of choices to invest, I expect few high-rated squads for Mane, as he’s really meta card. Yes, another LW, but good one. 4* Skill Moves and 4* WF should boost his price too.
Senegal squad: 86 rated squad with 1-2 Senegalese players with few IFs. Safest investment (apart from NIF Mane) is Koulibaly. High rate player, who should easily rise in price.
March goals. Premier league team with 85-87 rating with 2 Burnley players and with 1 Fulham Player. Really hard to invest into. You just should check higher rated players from Fulham and Burnley
Not so obvious choices: Some OTWsHeroesMOTMs. They might require those cards, but we haven’t seen those requirements yet.
Worth investing? If you invest into PL POTM – you probably be safe with cross-investments just because every winner would require higher rated cards.
Estimated cost: 500-750k. Yes, it’s really expensive card. Highly doubt that it’s worth it, just because TOTS will come out soon, and Mane will be in TOTS – 100%.
Roberto Firmino
My 2nd candidate for POTM. He played well this month. He scored 3 goals and recorded 1 assist. 2 goals vs Burnley (same as Mane), assist to Mane vs Fulham, goal vs Tottenham. Back to his best, and it’s a good time for Liverpool fans.
Chances of POTM: 25%
Tips for investing:
Close requirements to Mane card. Only differences are: Firmino is Brazil, so they might require Brazil players (duh) instead of Senegalese players. Yeah, and add a Spurs player to March goals.
I expect it to be more desirable card, as Bobby might miss on TOTS. So this might be his best chance to get a higher rated card.
Estimated Cost: 500-750k. Close to Mane in terms of price. Problem is: He doesn’t perfectly fit meta. He’s not that good at ST and his best position is (in my opinion) CAM.
Jamie Vardy is my third candidate. Back to his best under Brendan Rodgers. Scored 4 goals and got 1 assist. 2 goals and 1 assist came vs Fulham (poor lads), goal in 2-1 loss vs Watford, goal vs Bournemouth. Problem with his Potential POTM card: it should be 87 rated card ( which is only 1 rating higher than his League SBC). But I’ll boost it to 88 to make it look better
Chances of POTM: 20%
Expecting him be a little bit cheaper than other 2 candidates. My idea is: 3-4 squads with 85 rating. Leicester, England, Vardy and some random squad. I’d require some England players in requirements, Leicester, March goals, etc.
Estimated cost: 400k for Vardy. Close to League SBC value and it’s really debatable card. Depends on rating.
We have few more candidates for POTM but I can’t see them winning it:
Luke Shaw had a really good month for United. Registered assist and was overall consistent for them.
Raheem Sterling with another quality month. Scored 3 goals, but they were all in 1 game. That’s not enough for his POTM (IMO)
All of them would be quite fun, but sadly can’t see them winning too. Just to mention them, as they will probably be nominated.
Overall I think it’s gonna be Mane. He had a strong month and there were no one outstanding like last month (Aguero).
