FUT 19: Premier League POTM Predictions - April
Let’s discuss Premier League POTM for April.
Also the last POTM for PL. Will be interesting to see who gets it. A lot of candidates, because a lot of teams had a strong month.
I have around 3 main candidates for an award, but I think there will be much more options.
Mohammed Salah. Scored 4 goals in 4 games. Scored important game vs Southampton, scored amazing goal vs Chelsea and scored 2 vs Huddersfield + gave 1 assist. Really strong end to a season for Egyptian
Chances of POTM: 33%
Tips for investing:
Salah card. High risk investment. As always, there’s a chance that it won’t be required. Aguero and Auba required their cards, but Mane for example didn’t. It’s tough, mates. Again, it’s really risky.
Players from Liverpool: As I expect Salah or other Liverpool player to win an award – I expect LFC Players to rise a bit. Higher rated cards like Firmino and Alisson should rise.
Premier League team: 86-87 rated Premier League team with at least 3 IFs. A lot of choices to invest, I expect few high-rated squads for Salah, as he’s high rated card and end-game RW from PL. TOTS soon and so that can lower his price but still 93 rated card would be insane.
Egyptian squad: 86 rated squad with 1-2 Egypt players with few IFs. Safest investment (apart from NIF Salah) is Elneny I think. Not a lot of choices, but this way – overall of the squad should be higher and cost more.
April goals. Premier league team with 85-87 rating with 2 Huddersfield players and with 1 ChelseaSouthampton Player. Really hard to invest into. Huddersfield doesn’t have loads of high-rated players. Chelsea and Southampton easier.
Not so obvious choices: Some OTWsHeroesMOTMs. They might require those cards, but we haven’t seen those requirements yet.
Worth investing? If you invest into PL POTM – you probably be safe with cross-investments just because every winner would require higher rated cards. Also, depends if you want to complete him, because he’s nailed on TOTS
Estimated cost: 500-750k. Yes, it’s really expensive card. Highly doubt that it’s worth it, just because TOTS will come out soon, and Salah will be in TOTS – 100%. Same as Mane and few other candidates
Virgil Van Dijk
My 2nd candidate for POTM. He played well this month. Liverpool conceded only 1 goal in 4 games, so I think VVD will get nominated as always, plus he really got 1 assist vs Chelsea, so that should boost his chances a bit.
Chances of POTM: 15%
Tips for investing:
Really low chance of happening, I just think I need to mention him, just because I think he’ll get nominated.
Requirements? Some high rated squads with a looooooot of IFs, like his 92 POTM and Award Winner.
Award Winner is actually matters, because I think because of that – he won’t get POTM.
Estimated Cost: 500-750k. Close to his previous POTM in terms of price. If he wins: he should be a bit cheaper than his Award winner, as his AW card is 1 million.
Jamie Vardy is my third candidate. Back to his best under Brendan Rodgers. Another really good month for Jamie. 5 goals in 4 games, 2 vs Arsenal. Him and Youri Tielemans will get nominated from Leicester. Both have a good chance of winning it
Chances of POTM: 33%
Expecting him be a little bit cheaper than other 2 candidates. My idea is: 3-4 squads with 85 rating. Leicester, England, Vardy and some random squad. I’d require some England players in requirements, Leicester, March goals, etc.
Estimated cost: 400k for Vardy. Close to League SBC value and it’s really debatable card. Depends on rating.
We have few more candidates for POTM but I can’t see them winning it:
Aoyze Perez had an insane month for Newcastle. 5 goals in 3 important results for Newcastle. Definitely should be nominated and be considered for an award. Would be a cheap one to be fair.
Ben Mee and Chris Wood had a good month for Burnley. Secured their spot in PL with great results and one of them should be nominated for sure.
All of them would be quite fun, but sadly can’t see them winning too. Just to mention them, as they will probably be nominated.
Overall I think it’s gonna be Vardy. He had a strong month and there were no one outstanding like last month (Aguero)
