FUT 19: Player Of the Month Predictions: Premier League. October
Let’s discuss POTM for October.
There’re 3 candidates for this award. All good in terms of FUT. One of them is kinda debatable due to his position but we’ll talk about that later.
It’s really tough month due to only 3 games being played in PL.
3 Important games, interesting results and so on
Let’s start.

Ross Barkley. My POTM candidate, my POTM winner, I’ll be a little bit biased, because I want a cheaper POTM than the last one. Hazard got a lot of my coins. Ross had an exceptional month for midfielder with 3 goals and 3 assists. Overall, I think him being English and hyped player in Real Life will make him a winner, but we’ll see.
Chances of POTM: 36%
Tips for investing:
IF Barkley card (especially if he gets SIF)
Players from Sheffield Wednesday and Leeds: Barkley POTM reminds me of Dele Alli POTM from FUT17 and there was a requirement of MK Dons players, because he started there his career. Barkley played at loan in those clubs. I’d buy few silvers from those teams and gold players too.
Players from Chelsea: Well, 81 rated Chelsea team seems like realistic requirement. It’ll be around 20k, so yeah, it’s cheap
Premier League team: 82 rated Premier League team with at least few English players.
English squad: 80-82 rated English squad. Might be a little bit expensive, but I’d say it’s realistic requirement.
October goals and assists. Premier league team with 81-83 rating with 2 Southampton players, 1 United player and 3 Burnley players. Realistic? I’d say so.
Worth investing? I’d say you can buy few players for these requirements and still make coins. People will hype this.
Estimated cost: 50-70k. Can’t see it being more expensive. Usable card, which many people will do.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang
My 2nd candidate for POTM. Guy had an amazing month for Arsenal, as all Arsenal did. 5 goals and 1 assist. Well, he was my number one, until Arsenal drew to Crystal Palace. What leads me against him is that thing that he scored not so important goals or tap-ins, also mainly coming from the bench: 2 goals vs Leicester, 2 vs Fulham (also 1 assist) and 1 against Crystal Palace.
Also he’d be LW. And I really don’t want another LW POTM right after we had Hazard POTM.
Chances of POTM: 32%
Tips for investing:
NIF Auba. He’d be the same case as Hazard: I’m sure he won’t be requested, but Hazard rose a ton before his SBC. Same thing I see happening with Auba.
Other requirements like for Hazard:
86 rated squad with couple of IFs, Highest rated possible Arsenal squad (without Auba IMO), other high rated squads.
October goals: 83 rated squad with 2 Fulham players, 2 Leicester players (hello, Kasper Schmeichel), and 1 Crystal Palace player.
Gabon squad. IT’S A MEME. DON’T INVEST IN LEMINA.
Worth investing? I can see only investing for Auba as a big money move and sell before Friday (before announcementleak). So yeah, hard and expensive POTM to invest.
Estimated Cost: 500k. Can’t see it being cheaper, but probably because of position can drop to 400k.
Antony Martial is my last real candidate for this POTM. Guy had an amazing month with 4 goals and good performances. If he scored 1 more he’d be probably 1 position higher in my list, but Jordan Pickford said “No”. So yeah, I can’t really see him winning POTM. Fan votes will be split, but experts would probably vote for AubaBarkley.
Chances of POTM: 31%
Tips for investing:
French squad. I think 83 rated French squad will be a quite obvious requirement if he wins
PL Team. Around 85 rated team with couple of IFs. Get Shane Duffy IF to be safe. Buy under 12,5k and he’ll rise to 18k IMO.
October goals: 84 rated PL Team with 2 Chelsea players, 1 Everton player and 1 Newcastle player and 1 Crystal Palace player.
Worth investing? I’d invest for both Auba and Martial. Basically similar requirements, but difference in their nations+basic cards. IF Duffy, IF Pickford seems like the best investments, but in reality I can’t see Martial winning it.
Estimated cost: 350k-400k. Would be amazing LM. Another LM, but really popular for FUT users
Aymerick Laporte.
No joke, guy having a great month. If he has a decent performance against Spurs, I can see him getting at least a nomination.
I won’t talk about investments for him, but overall would be fun to see him in nominations.
Chances of winning: 1%
Overall I think it’s gonna be Barkley. Yes, I’m biased, but I have few arguments for it. Wouldn’t be surprise Auba winning, but, sadly, can’t see Martial getting it.
If I fail- sorry, guys:D
