FUT 19: Bundesliga POTM Predictions. October

Oh man. Bundesliga POTM is a rough one. Last time I predicted that fan vote would swing from deserving Duda winner to Reus. Well, it happened. 40% fan vote is just a mess. It’s hard to predict a true winner.

I see many candidates for this award, because many people performed good, but not amazing.

I really can see Jadon Sancho getting an undeserved POTM, because of the hype around him.

Again. Only 3 games played, so it’s hard to predict, but I’ll try.

Let’s start.

Luka Jovic. My POTM candidate, my POTM winner, because he scored 6 goals and assisted once in 3 games. Yeah, he scored 5 goals in 1 game, but who cares. And before I do cover investing: All of potential POTMs, apart from Lewa, would cost under 100k, so it’s hard to invest, just buy safely.

Chances of POTM: 20%

Tips for investing:
Serbian squad: 81 rated squad with few serbians in it
Squad with Benfica players:
His Previous club, can see it being a requirement
Bundesliga squad:
81-82 rated squad. Cheap and safe.
October goals

Worth investing? Just buy to be safe.

Estimated cost: 50-70k. Can’t see it being more expensive. Usable card with some amazing potential stats. Would be a nice super sub.

Paco Alcacer
My 2nd candidate for POTM. Guy had an amazing few games for BVB. He scored 4 goals in 2 games, in one of those he scored 3 goals as he came from the bench. He’s performing amazingly for BVB, but was injured in the last game, so it lowers his chances.

Chances of POTM: 25%

Tips for investing:
Spanish squad: with some Barcelona players. 82-83 rated
Other requirements like for Jovic:
Bundesliga squad, squad with low rated IFs, October Goals, Squad with ValenciaBarca players.
BVB squad is also possibly

Worth investing? I can see him getting POTM because of fan voting and he also kinda deserves it. But investing? Dunno, just buy Bundesliga players to be safe. 82-84 rated ones.

Estimated Cost: 100k. 86(maybe even 87, if we count FUT Swap in) card with some amazing shooting, but not really usable that much. It might be cheaper or more expensive, but doubt it.

Jadon Sancho is another candidate from BVB. I really can see it happening, but I’d be extremely disappointed. Not because he doesn’t deserve this, but because he doesn’t deserve it more than last 2 guys. He scored 3 goals and assisted 2 times which is really nice, don’t get me wrong.

Buuut, I can see Youtubers hyping him up, so he’ll win it.

Chances of POTM: 25%

Tips for investing:
English squad. I think 81 rated English squad will be a quite obvious requirement if he wins
Another Bundesliga team. 82-83 rated
October goals and assists.
Potentially: Full Silver English side. Would be fun and unexpected.

Worth investing? Same as previous guys. Requirements are obvious to me

Estimated cost: 70k or less. Fun card to have in your club and cheap to complete.

Sebastian Haller, Thorgan Hazard and Jonas Hoffman
I think this trio will be nominated, but, maybe expect for Hazard, has 0% chance of winning.

Investing the same as previous: Bundesliga squad, their nations and October goals and assists + previous clubs.
Haller got: 3 goals and 2 asssits
Hazard: 2 goals and 2 assists:
Hoffman: 3 goals ( all in 1 game) and 2 assists

Last candidate: Robert Lewandowski. I think he doesn’t even deserve nomination, but he scored 2goals and got 2 assists, so will probably get nominated and would get a few fan votes.

I can’t see him winning this, but I’ll cover investments:

Highest rated Polish squad without himBundesliga 84 rated squad
86 rated squad with couple IFs + 2 Bundesliga players
His Non-Inform.
And many more.

Chances of winning: 1%

Estimated cost: 500k

Overall I think it’s gonna be Sancho. Sadly. But Jovic or Paco might get it and I’ll be a happy man.
