I have used Kimpembe for about 40 games now and I can confidently say he is a superb defender, do I think he is among the top 5 CBs on the game? No. I was hoping he would be head and shoulders above Ramos, however think him and Ramos are very closely matched.
Kimpembe has many positives, noticeably his physicality in the tackle and he very often comes out the winner in a one vs one duel due to this, accompany his great defensive skills alongside this and you have a dominant defender.
An additional bonus is that he has great passing, which makes playing out from the back much easier as you can be confident in his passes finding his desired target.
I honestly struggled to think of any real negatives with the card, the only negative being the SBC is quite expensive when you consider TOTS Marquinhos is 415k and that is tradeable, and he is also a player I would say is a little better.
The price of the SBC is expensive, but I still would not say it is overpriced, especially when you consider how easy it is to generate fodder during TOTS.
Overall I think Kimpembe is an incredible card, and I am confident he will perform to a similar level of the top tier CBs in the game. Price wise, he is a fair price and well worth putting your fodder into.
