fifaRAWR's Team of the Week Predictions: Week 28 - The Final Team
Well it’s safe to say we won’t get a weekend of football like THAT for a long, long time… goals and talking points galore and it’s time for us TOTW Predictors to try and successfully piece it all together. An absurd seven players in this week’s team scored hat-tricks and that’s (obviously) not even counting the three players that scored hat-tricks that luckily aren’t on FUT! I also apologise to Chelsea fans for the lack of any of your stars in this team, despite being the biggest FIFA playing Oscar fanboy out there I couldn’t squeeze him in, and to Manchester United fans for the lack of Wayne “Beckham” Rooney but it was just impossible to fit anyone else in. I tried my best and hopefully you’ll appreciate that… into the team we go!
How many in forms is Luis Suarez going to end up with? This will be his third (after an upgrade too!) and most certainly will not be his last if he keeps playing like he does, the Uruguayan scored a hat-trick and claimed an assist as Liverpool put six past Cardiff. Sure, Martin Skrtel and Liverpool may have also let in three but when you score twice and assist once as a defender, I think you deserve a shot at TOTW, don’t you?
Presuming EA won’t do anything will Lionel Messi as he was in last week’s TOTW, I’ve picked Iniesta as the representative from an enthralling El Clasico which featured seven goals, three penalties, a red card and the usual antics. The Spaniard scored Barca’s first in a 4-3 victory over their bitter rivals and played generally well throughout.
Finally, we have someone who is long overdue what will be a gargantuan in form. Yaya Toure. The Ivorian scored a hat-trick which was made up of two penalties and a brilliant long range strike and City thumped a woeful Fulham 5-0. Safe to say it has been an exciting weekend of football, 42 goals in the Premier League and from this week’s three featured players alone, 21 goals in the games they took part in. Wow.
