fifaRAWR's Team of the Week Predictions: Week 22 - The Final Team
Not much to say this week apart from I’m *fairly* confident of a good score. Looks like it could potentially be a great TOTW too, plenty of good players in all categories. Any feedback and/or suggestions, leave a comment and follow myself and FUTWIZ on twitter!
If it weren’t for Luis Suarez, I think Eden Hazard would already have one hand on the Premier League Player of the Season trophy. The Belgian was fantastic for Chelsea in their 1-0 win over Manchester City little over a week ago and was again superb at the weekend as he scored a sublime hat-trick as the Blues cruised past Newcastle at Stamford Bridge to go top of the Premier League.
Gonzalo Higuain scored his 11th and 12th goals of the season as Napoli came from behind to beat Milan 3-1. Adel Taarabt had initially, albeit briefly, put the visitors in front with a brilliant solo goal before Gokhan Inler equalised three minutes later with a long range effort. Napoli then went onto claim all three points thanks to two second half goals from El Pipita.
Armenian midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan, hopefully a name I won’t have to repeat too much, was kicker’s Player of the Week this week. Brought in from Shakhtar Donetsk in the summer to replace Mario Gotze, he’d been very slow off the mark when it came to goals but he scored twice in Dortmund’s 5-1 demolition of Werder Bremen, his first Bundesliga goals since mid September last year!
