Part 1 of this week’s TOTW Prediction, the previous two weeks have gone down brilliantly and hopefully this will do just as well! Part 2 shall be out shortly after midday (UK Time) on Tuesday with the final part out at 5-6pm on the same day; I’m trying to get into some kinda routine with this! Hopefully most of you will know the drill by now, if you don’t, go back and look through my previous articles and you should get the idea fairly quickly. Remember ALL feedback is much appreciated, be it by leaving a comment or twitter and without further ado, lets get into this week’s prediction!

Potential In Forms | Week 14 | Barclays Premier League

http://www.futwiz.com/en/custom-squad/12899

RB: Pablo Zabaleta (Manchester City) – 1 Assist, 6-3 vs Arsenal (82>83)

LB: Jon Flanagan (Liverpool) – 1 Goal, 5-0 vs Spurs (63>64)

CM: Jordan Henderson (Liverpool) – 1 Goal, 1 Assist, 5-0 vs Spurs (75>77)

CM: Fernandinho (Manchester City) – 2 Goals, 6-3 vs Arsenal (81>82)

ST: Luiz Suarez (Liverpool) – 2 Goals, 3 Assists, 5-0 vs Spurs (86>89)

ST: Danny Welbeck (Manchester United) – 2 Goals, 3-0 vs Aston Villa (78>80)

A north westerly theme to the BPL candidates this week, with all six players playing for clubs in that region. Pablo Zabaleta was his usual attacking self and was a constant threat as City spanked Arsenal 6-3, he had a good week in general after putting Ribery in his pocket last Wednesday and then another star of the City team that day was Fernandinho, the Brazilian was given the MOTM award after scoring twice and putting in an imperious performance. Another team to make a title statement this weekend was Liverpool who beat a quite frankly appalling, and now managerless, Spurs side 5-0 at White Hart Lane. Jon Flanagan continued his good form at left back and scored a beautiful goal as well as keeping Lennon and Walker at bay, Jordan Henderson put in another great performance in midfield, scoring a goal and grabbing an assist and perhaps is starting to live up to the price tag but the star of the show was skipper for the day, Luis Suarez. Two goals and three assists for the Uruguayan, however, I’m 99% sure he won’t get an in form this week because EA *USUALLY* do not hand out in forms two weeks in a row. Finally we have another striker, Danny Welbeck; the forward scored two goals in quick succession as Manchester United swept Aston Villa aside 3-0.

Potential In Forms | Week 14 | Bundesliga

GK: Diego Benaglio (Wolfsburg) – 3 Saves, 3-1 vs Stuttgart (80>81)

GK: Kevin Trapp (Frankfurt) – 7 Saves, 1-0 vs Leverkusen (79>80)

RB: Sebastian Jung (Frankfurt) – 1 Assist, 1-0 vs Leverkusen (76>78)

RM: Andre Hahn (Augsburg) – 2 Goals, 4-1 vs Braunschweig (67>73)

CAM: Halil Altintop (Augsburg) – 1 Goal, 4-1 vs Braunschwieg (73>76)

ST: Adrien Ramos (Hertha Berlin) – 2 Goals, 3-2 vs Werder Bremen (76>78)

ST: Mame Diouf (Hannover) – 2 Goals, 3-3 vs Nurnberg (79>80)

A couple of goalkeepers were fantastic for their respective sides in the Bundesliga this weekend, Diego Benaglio was awarded the Bundesliga Player of the Week award for his superb performance against Stuttgart and Kevin Trapp, the Eintracht Frankfurt ‘keeper was again superb as Frankfurt beat second place and Champions League side Bayer Leverkusen 1-0. Sebastian Jung was also fantastic for Die Adler, claiming an assist and putting in an impeccable defensive display. Two Augsburg players vying for a second in form this week are midfield pair Andre Hahn and Halil Altintop, the former scored twice and the latter only once, but they were just as important as each other as Augsburg racked up a commanding win. Colombian striker Adrien Ramos continued his good goalscoring start to the season with a brace over Werder Bremen, what a monster of an in form and then, possibly, a TOTS card he’d be and finally Mame Diouf who like Ramos, scored twice as Nurnberg choked a 3-0 lead and potentially their first win on the season to draw 3-3.

Potential In Forms | Week 14 | Liga BBVA

GK: Esteban (Almeria) – 6 Saves, 0-0 vs Espanyol (73>74)

RB: Marc Bertran (Osasuna) – 1 Assist, 2-2 vs Real Madrid (74>74)

CB: Miranda (Atletico Madrid) – Fantastic Performance, 3-0 vs Valencia (81>83)

CDM: Ruben Pardo (Real Sociedad) – 3 Assists, 5-1 vs Real Betis (73>77)

LW: Neymar (Barcelona) – 2 Goals, 2-1 vs Villarreal (84>86)

ST: Diego Costa (Atletico Madrid) – 2 Goals, 3-0 vs Valencia (83>85)

ST: David Barral (Levante) – 2 Goals, 2-1 vs Elche (74>74)

ST: Agirrexte (Real Sociedad) – 2 Goals, 5-1 vs Real Betis (77>79)

ST: Javi Guerra (Valladolid) – 3 Goals, 3-0 vs Celta Vigo (74>74)

Veteran Almeria goalkeeper Esteban rolled back the years with a superb performance in a 0-0 draw at home to Espanyol. Marc Bertran grabbed an assist and put in a great performance as Osasuna took points off of Real Madrid, despite choking a 2-0 lead. Two Atletico Madrid player next, centre-back Miranda and free scoring scoring striker Diego Costa were superb as Atleti got another three points, beating Valencia 3-0 and remaining level at the top of the table with Barcelona. Sticking with the Brazilian(ish) theme and Neymar made it five goals in a week as he scored twice in Barca’s hard fought 2-1 win over Villarreal. Sociedad youngster Ruben Pardo could be getting a second in form this week as he got three assists in the home side’s 5-1 demolition of basement Betis, Agirrexte also scored twice and has a good chance of an in form. Finally we have two more silvers, both strikers, and the first of those is David Barral, who came off the bench for Levante and scored twice in their win over fellow mid table side Elche and then we have Javi Guerra, who scored a Monday night hattrick for Real Valladolid over the ten men of Celta Vigo.

Potential In Forms | Week 14 | Ligue 1

http://www.futwiz.com/en/custom-squad/12906

GK: Steve Mandanda (Marseille) – 5 Saves, 2-2 vs Lyon (83>84)

CDM: Thiago Motta (PSG) – 1 Goal, 3-1 vs Rennes (80>81)

CM: Etienne Didot (Toulouse) – 1 Goal, 2-1 vs Nantes (75>77)

CAM: James Rodriguez (Monaco) – 2 Assists, 2-0 vs Guingamp (83>85)

ST: Salomon Kalou (Lille) – 2 Goals, 2-1 vs Bastia (78>81)

A relatively poor week as far as candidates go for Ligue 1, only five at a push this week. Despite conceding twice, Steve Mandanda is one of biggest candidates from Ligue 1 this week as he was great in Marseille’s 2-2 draw against an under performing Lyon. Italian defensive midfielder Thiago Motta continued his good season with another good performance, this time scoring a goal as PSG cruised to a 3-1 victory over Rennes. Etienne Didot scored one of Toulouse’s two as they beat Ligue 1’s surprise package of the season, Nantes, 2-1 away from home; Nantes’ only goal from Papy Djilobodji was an absolute scorcher – look it up! James Rodriguez was superb for Monaco as they continued their winning run despite the absence of Radamel Falcao, getting himself two assists and would be another good second in form. Finally, former Chelsea man Salomon Kalou and he scored twice as Lille came back from an early deficit to beat Bastia 2-1 to continue their good run, bar the defeat to in form Bordeaux.

Potential In Forms | Week 14 | Serie A

http://www.futwiz.com/en/custom-squad/12979

GK: Rafael (Hellas Verona) – 6 Saves, 0-0 vs Catania (72>73)

GK: Angelo Da Costa (Sampdoria) – 6 Saves, 0-0 vs Chievo (71>73)

CB: Cristian Zapata (Milan) – 1 Goal, 2-2 vs Roma (79>80)

CDM: Blerim Dzemaili (Napoli) – 1 Goal, 1 Assist, 4-2 vs Inter (76>78)

CM: Borja Valero (Fiorentina) – 1 Goal, 1 Assist, 3-0 vs Bologna (82>84)

ST: Carlos Tevez (Juventus) – 3 Goals, 1 Assist, 4-0 vs Sassuolo (86>87)

ST: Miroslav Klose (Lazio) – 2 Goals, 2-0 vs Livorno (83>84)

Two more good goalkeeping performances from the Serie A means it’s going to be hard choosing which two (or three) make the team this week, Brazilian ‘keeper Rafael was superb for Hellas Verona, making six saves against bottom side Catania and another Brazilian, this time it’s Sampdoria shot stopper Angelo Da Costa also made six saves and against Hellas’ big rivals, Chievo. A fantastic game on Monday ended 2-2 between Milan and Roma but despite the scoreline, defenders were the standout players on the night. Cristian Zapata scored one of Milan’s goals, Urby Emanuelson was also fantastic and Mehdi Benatia was a rock as ever for Roma. Swiss Napoli midfielder Blerim Dzemaili played a key part in a thrilling game at Stadio San Paolo, scoring one and assisting another as Napoli continued their fantastic scoring form, putting four past Inter. Another great performance from Spanish midfielder Borja Valero means he has another shot at an in form, like Dzemaili, he scored once and assisted once as La Viola beat Bologna 3-0. Carlos Tevez scored his first hattrick in Juventus colours as they swept aside Sassuolo, he also claimed an assist and will be a fantastic card and finally, German legend Miroslav Klose scored twice for a Lazio side who have been misfiring this season, as they beat Livorno 2-0.

Come back tomorrow afternoon for Part 2!
