FIFA 23 Team of The Week Predictions: Week 7
Hello and welcome to week 7 of our Team of the Week predictions for FUT 23. Unlike last week, we’re not getting a very good TOTW. This TOTW is what I dislike about TOTWs: A lot of average cards and point of playing WL kinda neglects itself, but still, maybe there are some nice players that you will enjoy!
Let’s see who played well this weekend. There were some easy picks in defense: Moreno got 2 assists for a game vs Sociedad, De Vrij scored for Inter and Tagliafico assisted a winner against Lille. Also goalkeepers were playing well: Kobel got Kicker TOTW spot for a game vs Frankfurt and Meslier had an insane showing vs Liverpool.
Midfielders were hard to choose. Mane got 1 goal and 2 assists for Bayern, Bentancur scored a winner vs Bournemouth in 3-2 comeback and I went with Eriksen for his performance vs West Ham (Dalot or DDG are also an option). Vela got a MOTM and assist in MLS play off game, Miranchuk scored an important goal vs Milan in 2-1 win for Torino.
Strikers were easiest part: Osimhen with 3 goals, Wilson with 2 goals, Openda with 3 and Batshuayi also with 3 goals. Very good performances from all strikers.
Tbh, I didn’t find any surprise picks for TOTW, feel like there’s a stretch for 2nd IF KDB and he can get it and it would be very good card, but at the same time – 93 rated card for 1 goal wouldn’t be that fair, I guess? Will see how EA chose.
