FIFA 23 Team of The Week Predictions: Week 6
Hello and welcome to week 6 of our Team of the Week predictions for FUT 23. It could be very good TOTW, can be very insane and probably one of the best we’ve seen this year, but I decided not to include few players and made it look weaker. I may be completely wrong, but have reasons for that.
At first, let’s cover PSG – I haven’t included Messi due to him just getting POTM and 3rd Messi’s special card would be a bit too much for the start of the game. Mbappe on other hand fits TOTW pretty well, but he didn’t get into L’equipe TOTW and I dunno, something feels off about giving him IF. I may be wrong and we’ll get red Mbappe this week.
What else: ViniFede. Fede SIF would be a bit too soon imo, while Vini should get TOTW for more than just 2 assists, but again, it’s really debatable.
Where I struggled: Main goalkeeper. I went with Vlahodimos from Benfica who had strong game vs Porto and kept CS and Benfica won. Other options were Bounou, Alisson, Kepa. It was hard to include them, because in 1 out of 2 games they had good performances (like Ali vs WHU), but in the next game lost or drew. So I went with favorable option in terms of results.
Defenders were hard this week. I’ve included Cuadrado, but tbh I can see him getting excluded and Rabiot getting TOTW instead of him. Other defenders were also hard – Trippier didn’t do much, but in 2 wins he was strong and stable, so we can see him get TOTW this week. No main center backs was surprising to me, but at the same time it was nearly impossible to find one.
There are few options that are debatable, but that’s always the case, so we’ll leave it like that.
Good luck with your packs.
