FIFA 23: Team of the Week Predictions - Week 5
Hello and welcome to Team of The Week 5 Predictions for FUT 23. Already week 5 and it’s probably going to be first one really mediocre. I tried to make it better than expected, but still found it hard, considering results in big games.
So, best players this week are: Joe Gomez for his amazing performance vs Manchester City. It was really surprising one, as everyone expected City to easily win this game. Good perfromance and probably very good card for FUT for current stage of the game. If Joe Gomez won’t be in a squad – we can consider Alisson, who scored an assist and kept a clean sheet. There were a lot of candidates from Prem, especially GKs and I opted for Kepa and Raya. 2 Spanish GKs went and had very good games. Kepa especially. He went insane in a game vs Aston Villa and Mount can’t get SIF so soon. Raya or Toney was a debate for me, but Raya got MOTM, so I went with him.
Going back to other leagues and outfield players: Toni Kroos had insane Classico performance and got praised by everyone. MOTM and I think Valverde still can’t get his SIF so soon after his IF. Other options from La Liga are: William Carvalho with 1 goal for Betis that moved them only 3 points behind Barca, Reinildo for MOTM Performance on 1-0 win over Atheltic and Uzuni who had goal and 2 assists in Granada win.
From other leagues: Sane went and got MOTM vs Freiburg in 5-0 win and should get very nice central card. Silas had a very good for Stuttgart and Lindstom had also a good game.
In Serie A: Barella had 1 goal and 1 assist vs Salernitana (also an option for Lautaro, but went with Barella as he’s more desired card). Danilo had a good game vs Torino and should get an IF too. In Ligue 1: David and Terrier scored goals and brought their teams points.
Overall, I tried to include as many desired cards as possible, so Barella-Sane-Gomez can be very nice. Kroos can be usable in this meta, his NIF is very nice, I recommend you trying him out.

Good luck with your packs and picks.
