FIFA 23: Team of The Week Predictions - Week 25
Hello and welcome to another Team of The Week Predictions, week 25 already and we’re close to TOTS.
We should get solid TOTW, probably better than last week but still not the best one.
It’s heavy Premier League dominated, just because we’ve had a lot of good performances. Let’s go through them: John Stones with another amazing game for City and a goal in 3-1 vs Leicester. I also included TAA for his another solid performance vs Leeds on Monday with 2 assists from new position. Still placed him RB (it easily can be Jota too). A lot of other good performances: Ollie Watkins vs Newcastle with 2 goals and 1 assist. He’s in amazing form, Unai Emery doing fantastic job in Villa and Watkins performing sensationally for them. Solanke had 2 assists and 1 goal vs Spurs in surprising win for Bournemouth and Eze had another great performance with 2 goals in their 3rd win in a row.
That’s probably it from Prem? Ah, yes, Antony – 1 goal and 1 assist for him, should get an OTW upgrade too. Now we’re done with Prem.
Another player having sensational 2023 – Antoine Griezmann. He probably will get another IF with clutch performance in 6th Atletico win in a row. 2 goals to his name. Fantastic 2nd half of the season for him and Simeone’s team. Miranda has a chance for an IF with 1 goal in important 3-1 win, they are still challenging for UCL spot. And Athletic Bilbao helped them with a win over Sociedad. Inaki Willams was clutch man with 2 goals to his name.
In Ligue 1 we also had few good performances – Anthony Lopes had clutch performance in goal for Lyon vs Toulouse. They didn’t lose and won 2-1. Also Doku had fantastic performance with 2 goals in 3-0 win. That’s probably it for France and we’re moving to Germany with great performance by Kampl that granted his POTW with 1 goal and 1 assist. Jonas Hector had good performance for Koln and earned a spot in Kicker TOTW too.
In ROTW – Icardi scored 3 goals and got 1 assist in 6-0 win, Til had a clutch performance for PSV with 2 goals and 1 assist and Paintstil was good for Genk!
That’s probably it for now. We should get some decent cards, but not the best. Still – Griezmann should be a highlight and few players should get nice boosts!
