FIFA 23: Team of The Week Predictions - Week 15
Hello and welcome to week 15 of our Team of the Week predictions for FUT 23. Choosing TOTWs becoming like a quest that hardens (is that a word in English?) every week. This week isn’t an exception. A lot of big clubs either underperformed or just straight lost their games, so I’ve tried to salvage it with some surprise picks and big boosts.
Okay, main problem this week is lack of strikers. I couldn’t find anyone that could get higher rated than Iheanacho and McGoldrick. It’s really funny, but at the same time not so funny. Iheanacho should get featured card and McGoldrick 2nd IF should be one of the better cards in Championship.
Main highlight of this weekend was defense. We’ve got Alba with great game vs Sevilla with 1 goal and 1 assist, goal and CS from Ibanez for Roma, Hakimi with 8 from L’equipe with 1 goal to his name in 2-1 fight and Rapha Guerreiro from BVB with 3 assists from LB position. There’s also James Tarkowiski that helped Everton win vs League Leaders Arsenal and Emerson from Spurs who had a fantastic showing vs Manchester City (I guess transfer of Pedro Porro did motivate him).
In terms of midfielders we have Kingsley Coman with 2 great goals in 4-2 win over Woflsburg, Ruben Neves with a great performance topped with a goal vs Liverpool and my surprise pick – Barella. Nico had a wonderful game vs Milan, controlled midfield and was amazing on the pitch. I believe that he has a chance, but low one. Let’s see if the gamble pays out.
There are some nice options on the bench, but I doubt that anyone interesting will be there apart from your usual fodder.
So yeah, despite my best efforts – I think Barella should be the best card in TOTW and apart from him most of the cards will be on lower demand and lower price range. Good luck with your packs during Future Stars and I hope you’ll get good fodder.
