FIFA 22 Team of The Week Predictions: Week 8
Hello and welcome to week 8 of our TOTW Predictions
Last week was good in terms of predictions, I was actually happy to get 14, it seemed like decent result, finally, after few rough weeks. Yeah, some picks were obvious, but some were ignored and went 5050 other way.
This week seems to be the best TOTW so far, in my opinion. We should get some big boys. Starting with them: Cancelo at LB (much needed for squad building, thank you, Pep Guardiola) for 2 assists and clean sheet in Manchester derby. Joao deserved few already, but he finally should get one. Neymar or Mbappe from PSG vs Bordeaux game. Neymar and Mbappe both got 8 from L’equipe, but I’m going with Neymar, as I feel like he was a bit better, despite getting only 2 goals (over 1 goal and 2 assists of Mbappe).
There’s a good chance of Jonathan Clauss getting Featured TOTW with amazing game for Lans. Speaking about fullbacks: Acuna scored a winning goal in Seville derby, also got CS. Cuadrado scored a winning goal in important game vs Fiorentina.
Tony Kross had a good game for Real Madrid with goal and goal-line clearence in 90+ minute. Christopher Nkunku continues his great season and he had an insane game vs BVB with 1 goal and 1 assist. Aspas scored 2 goals in amazing comeback for Celta vs Barcelona from 0-3 to 3-3.
Kurt Zouma played well vs Liverpool and scored a goal, even tho they conceded 2, he should probably still be in.
Other than that – we have some lower rated IFs, who should get some cards, but nothing to highlight.
There’s a chance for Neuer or Goretzka from Bayern, both got 2 from Kicker (1 is highest mark, it’s reverse in Germany). But I dunno, it doesn’t feel like it’s enough to me. They might still sneak in.
Should be a fun week and reds should be quite worthy to play for.
