FIFA 22 Team of The Week Predictions: Week 28
Hello and welcome to week 28 of our TOTW Predictions. Okaaaaaaay, let’s gooooo.
Had a very enjoyable result last week, overall it’s been solid results lately, so let’s continue this trend. This week fits for that, as it’s international break and we had some interesting results and good performances by players. There are a lot of friendlies, but I tried to include players from all games: friendlies, important qualifiers and even some off leagues like A-League or English lower divisions!
Main stars of this week are: Bale with 2 goals against Austria. Both goals were insane, so I’m 99% sure that we’ll see him; Di Maria with awesome performance in Argentina shirt; Pulisic with 3 goals to (nearly) qualify USA to World Cup; Tchouameni with very good performance in France shirt, Stevie B from Spurs for a good friendly game vs Denmark, Shaw with 1 assist, Alba too. Navas kept CS vs Canada and gave Costa Rica a life line and possible qualification to WC. There are some more performances that were good.
For example: Tierney scored 1 goal for Scotland as CB and he can get fun IF. Otavio performed amazingly well for Portugal with 1 goal and 1 assist, Chris Wood scored 4 goals for New Zealand. On the bench I have Mitoma for 2 goals vs Australia to qualify Japan to WC, Herrera for important assist for Mexico, Dimitrevski for an amazing game vs Italia and to knock them out of WC qualifiers.
Then I also have Vanaken for 1 goal and 1 assist in draw (very unlikely and probably will miss out), Rashica for 1 goal and 2 assists in a friendly game and some other players. I went with LB from Canada, as I haven’t had enough spots for Hoilett, but I’ll be fine with me getting wrong player here. I just ran out of silver spots.
I may have missed some players, but overall I think I included most of the deserved ones. As per usual, I’m very open to discussion and always welcomed to read your comments if I missed someone.
Good luck with your reds and packs.
