FIFA 22 Team of the Week Prediction: Week 1

First week of FUT 22, a lot of people are excited and I’m one of those people too. TOTW 1 looking sharp and a lot of people (once again) were looking forward to it, due to pre-order bonus. And few changes to TOTW. For now – I won’t predict featured TOTW, but that may change later down the season.

A lot of good results this weekend for TOTW. For example – Bayern scored 7 goals, I included Sane at first, but then I realized that I needed some midfield options and went with Kimmich with 2 goals.

Ajax scored 9 goals in Eredivisie and I went with hyped up card of Timber (him and Neres got both 8 rating, Neres got 2 goals and 1 assist. But I had too many wingers and not enough defenders, so that’s my idea).

BVB scored 4, 2 of those were from Haaland and he was great. 2 great goals and probably spot in TOTW. Same with Vinicius from Real Madrid: changed the game with 1 goal and 1 assist, got 3* on Marca and should be in TOTW.

Who else to highlight… Inter smashed 6-1 Bologna and I went with Dzeko, but anyone from Inter can get it. Maybe Dumfries too. Odegard scored winning goal for Arsenal, Bednarek was solid vs City, Silva was MOTM vs Spurs.

I didn’t include DDG from United because apart from pen save he didn’t do much. Bono saved points for Sevilla and Horn got POTW in Bundesliga with best game of his life too. That’s why. I didn’t include Salah too, because there were too many wingers that scored more. It’s possible he’ll get IF, but in my mind it’s pretty unlikely.

A lot of lower rated wingers had good performances and got a decent chance at featured TOTW.
