FIFA 22: Player of the Month Predictions - Serie A March POTM
Hello and welcome to Player Of The Month Predictions for Serie A for March. Very decent month for Serie A and a lot happened during this month. Let’s cover overall league standings. Last month consisted of 3 games and that changed a lot up top of the table. Few weeks before Inter was leading comfortably the table, while Milan and Napoli were chasing. Now Inter and Napoli chasing Milan. They are separated by 3 points. 3 wins out of 3 for Milan and win over Napoli were crucial for them this month. Inter drew 23 games and now even Juventus, who won last 3 games in a row too are right behind them with 1 point difference only. It’s very exciting battle uptop of the table in Serie A. Don’t miss the last 2 months, because we might see new champion.
Roma had a good month under Mourinho with 2 wins out of 3 games and 1 draw. And my first player in this article will be from Roma: Tammy Abraham is my choice. Tammy scored 3 goals in 3 games and was really important for them. I’m very happy to see Tammy scoring for fun in Roma, he scored 15 goals in Serie A this season which is really nice result for debut season and still has 2 months to improve on that. He scored a winner in 1-0 win over Atalanta (which was crucial in their battle for 5th spot) and he scored 2 goals vs direct rivals – Lazio in Rome derby. Both games were important, as they are all pretty close in table. Tammy might get 86 rated POTM and wouldn’t be as good as his Birthday card, but still would be some fodder option for you. He would cost around 20k in my opinion. His TOTS should be really decent tho.
Next up, I have Napoli player. Victor Osimhen, one of my favorite strikers in real life – had a good month in Serie A. Despite having few injuries this season (as last season too) – he still performs nicely. 11 goals in 20 games is cool result. He scored 4 goals in 3 games this month and didn’t score only in 1 game vs Milan. He scored 2 goals in 2-1 wins over Hellas Verona and Udinese – so as you can see – all of his goals were crucial af. His potential POTM would be 87 rated and would be nice super sub option for some of you, or even some of you might use him in your Serie A squads. I hope he’ll get some sort of TOTS card and will be even better. Another card that would be worth around 25–30k at max (at least it should. It might be more).
Next up, before I move to my favorite – I have to mention Milan. As I’ve said – they won 3 out of 3 games, but it’s hard to find only 1 player who deserves to be nominated. I’d say it’s possible to see some defender being nominated, as they didn’t concede a goal, but I’d rather think of Maignan who kept CS in all 3 games. Theo, Kalulu, Calabria – all possible. Maybe even Bennacer. But it’s hard to find only 1 player. If Maignan wins – he’ll be 88, Theo – 90 rated, Kalulu – 84 rated and Calabria also 84 rated cards. I guess Theo would be really nice option and expensive one, so many people would like him, but I dunno if we’ll see a winner from Milan.
And the last, as I’ve mentioned already – favorite in my eyes – would be Domenico Berardi from Sassuolo. He also scored 4 goals and was in sensational form this month. 2 goals vs Venezia, 2 goals vs Spezia and pretty quiet game vs Salernitana. Sassuolo stand 9th in table, and I doubt that they’ll move much higher, but it’s one of the most exciting teams in Serie A, they scored 55 goals in the league and only 3 teams scored more than them. Berardi contributed to 25 goals with 14 goals and 11 assists (insane numbers tbh) and his TOTS will be sensational too. If Berardi wins – he’ll get 89 rated card and would worth around 70k, in my opinion. He’d be very useful for a lot of you and would boost his TOTS even higher.
So, in the end – I’d say that any of those who I listed – can win an award, but to me a winner – Berardi. Felt like he was instrumental part in Sassuolo’s good month and would have the best card too (unless we talk about potential Theo POTM). But yeah, Serie A can be unexpected and we can get some random winner, but I think I listed all very deserved nominees.
