FIFA 22 Player of the Month Predictions: Bundesliga September POTM
September is over and Bundesliga delivered. This month was exciting as always, there were a lot of goals and we’ll have a good POTM. Maybe expensive, maybe decent price. Let’s cover this stuff.
Only 3 games for most players during this month, but even in those 3 games we saw mad amount of goals.
First POTM was won by Erling Haland, but he won’t be released during FUT 22, so this will be officially first POTM.
I’ll start with RB Leipzig leader: Christopher Nkunku. In all honesty – I didn’t have a good candidate for 6th spot, but I decided to include Nkunku last minute due to his good performance in last game of the month with 2 goals and 1 assist. Overall he was decent, but imo he stands 0 chance for POTM, but again, I felt like I should’ve at least mention him. His POTM would be 87 rated card (assuming he’d get IF for a game vs Hertha) and would cost around 200k with some really nice stats. Honestly it’d be a very nice POTM, but not this month.
Next up I have Freiburg player: Nico Schlotterbeck. Freiburg had a very good month, with 2 draws and 1 win and they are close to top 4. Nico had a good month himself too: 2 cs and 2 MOTM awards during this month and deserved call up to national team. His FUT card is bad. Like really bad. His POTM would be 82 rated card and shouldn’t worth more than 20k. He has 0 chance of winning an award in my eyes, but still deserves a mention, and whole Freiburg played well too!
First Bayern player in my prediction is Leroy Sane. Leroy is back on his left wing and he’s back in form. Use Leroy as LM – have fun in games. 2 goals and 2 assists in 3 games. 1 goal vs Leipzig, 1 goal and assist vs Bochum and 1 assist vs Furth. It’s nice to see Sane performing well. His POTM would be LM and would worth a lot as he’s pretty popular player in FUT. 87 rated card with some really nice stats. Would worth around 250k–350k in my opinion, as he doesn’t have a lot of alternatives at LM in Bundesliga (apart from Coman and Diaby).
Now, let’s move to a big 3. I think there’re 3 really good candidates this month. All of them in my opinion is a good option for an award.
First up is Florian Wirtz. 3 goals and 2 assists in decent month for Bayer: 2 wins and 1 loss in a mad game against BVB. Wirtz goals were important: winning goal vs Mainz, 1 goal and 1 assist in 3-1 win over Stuttgart, 1 goal and 1 assist in 3-4 loss vs BVB. Wirtz already got 1 IF and it’s pretty cheap, but his POTM would be a very, very, very good card for a starting time at FUT. I expect it to be 86 rated and worth around 70–100k. His IF is really cheap, so his POTM wouldn’t be too expensive. Some decent stats and fun card to play with. More upgrades = better future stars card in the latter stages of FUT.
Chances of POTM: 30%
Next one is Erling Haland. Haland already won 1 POTM this season and his September was great too. Despite playing only 2 games – he managed to score 4 goals and got 1 assist too. 2 goals and 1 assist in 4-3 win over Bayer and 2 goals vs Union Berlin. I think he has a good shot at winning an award, but compared to other months imo it’s lower, due to missing 1 game, which BVB lost. His NIF is 88 rated, so POTM would be 90 rated and would cost…300k? His NIF is popular and 100k on the market. Fits the meta too, I expect 300k for potential POTM. Maybe even more.
Chances of POTM: 25%
He has a high chance of winning, especially when we have a big % of fan voting in Bundesliga and Haland one of the most popular players in the league.
And the last one, who I think should win the award – Joshy Kimmich. Let me explain why I think he’s a favorite. Joshy scored 3 goals and got 1 assist in 3 games for Bayern from CDM position. He transitions across the pitch well, he’s a leader and he managed to outscore anyone in Bayern squad, while they scored…14 goals in 3 games this month. It’s impressive, right? Joshua already got 1 IF and it’s worth around 170k on both consoles. It’ll rise for sure. His POTM would be 91 rated card and would have some very impressive stats for a first month of FUT. I dunno if a lot of people will complete him, but he’d be worth around 300k in my opinion. Very good stats, links, nation, everything is good about him. Apart from tucked in shirt. But we don’t speak about those here.

Very good month of Bundesliga. Best tips for Investing right now is fodder, which is really cheap and some higher rated IFs that are cheap, due to supply and no one using them at the moment.
We should get some great first POTM for Bundesliga. I’d love to get Wirtz or Kimmich, because Haland will get it anyway later down the season. Kimmich would be a nice player for good budget, while Wirtz would be a good starter CAM for a few months of FUT.
