FIFA 22: Player of the Month Predictions - Bundesliga October POTM
October is over in Germany, no Octoberfest, but we had a festival of goals and performances in Bundesliga.
This month was pretty interesting one, but was mostly dominated by Bayern and Dortmund. Also Freiburg is a surprise in Top 3, considering that we have clubs like Bayer, Wolfsburg, Monchengladbach and Leipzig. We should get nominee from Freiburg as well, as from BVB and Bayern
Now we move to candidates:
BVB had a pretty good month with 4 wins out of 4 games and finding 1 player was hard: they couldn’t keep a clean sheet, Haland was injured, so no one really stood out. For me main option is Jude Bellingham. Youngster had 2 assists and 1 goal in 4 games and these are probably decent numbers to get POTM nominee. He should get 86 rated card and it would worth quite a bit, as he’s hyped and popular player IRL, and his POTM card would be quite useful in game. Probably will worth around 60–100k.
Next up, as I mentioned already: Freiburg player. Vincenzo Grifo had 1 goal and 2 assists, same as Jude Bellingham, but it’s a bit more impressive for Freiburg. He had an assist vs Leipzig and scored a goal and got an assist vs Greuther Furth. Freiburg’s highlight is still probably their defense, with Nico Schlotterbeck and Christian Gunther, but whole team performing very well, due to their legendary manager. Grifo would be 84 rated card with some very meh stats, that’s why he wouldn’t worth more than 30–40k. I honestly dunno who would get him, but it’s fair to mention him.
Next one is Konstantinos Mavropanos from Stuttgart. Stuttgart had a pretty mixed month: win over Hoffenheim, draw to Monchengladbach and Union Berlin, loss to Koln. They kept 0 clean sheets, but I’m still including defender for his 2 goals and overall solid performances in those games, he was rated highly by Kicker and therefore it’s my reason for his inclusion. He’d be 82 rated card with some nice stats (another fast Bundesliga CB), but would be rather cheap (around 30k in my opinion).
Next up I have is Andrej Kramaric from Hoffenheim. Hoffie had a good month and especially Kramaric with 1 goal and 2 assists (is it some sort of a meme that 34 nominees so far got 1 goal and 2 assists?). He played well in nearly every game, apart from Bayern Munich, but we’ll excuse him for that. Kramaric is very cool player to watch, but sadly in FUT he’s not that popular due to his pace. Last year’s POTM was cheap, but I haven’t seen him regulary in game. This year he can get 87 rated POTM for rather cheap: around 40–50k for his card. He’d be a pretty cool CAM, but dunno if he’ll be completed by many.
Speaking about CAMs: ThomAssist Muller had one good month for Bayern. He gets often overlooked, but this month it shouldn’t be the case: 2 goals 5 assists this month. Amazing game vs Union with 1 goal and 3 assists, 1 goal and 1 assist vs Bayer and 1 assist vs Hoffenheim. Muller can get a very fun 90 rated POTM, but we probably won’t see him very often in game due to his weird card in FUT. I’d still say that he will worth around 100k or something like that, it’s still 90 rated card and with some nice stats. Maybe there are Muller fans who will enjoy this card.

And the last, but not least: Robert Lewandowski. He had another great month in Bundesliga: 5 goals and 1 assist in 4 games, some average marks by Kicker, that’s why he doesn’t have a TOTW yet, but this is a good time for POTM. Lewa scored 2 goals vs Bayer, 1 goal vs Hoffenheim, 2 goals vs Union and got an assist in a loss to Frankfurt. Very decent month for Lewa and it’d be guaranteed POTM for any other player, but not Lewa. I’d say that he’s a favorite, but Muller had better month in my opinion overall. We’ll see who wins, but I think it’ll be Bayern player. He will be 93 rated and would worth around 150k coins, as his NIF worth around 50 nowadays.
