FIFA 22: Player of the Month Predictions - Bundesliga November POTM
Hello and Welcome to Bundesliga POTM predictions for November month.
I had a very hard time predicting this month, just because it’s really close and I have 0 favorites. Usually I have 3-4 players that I think that can win, but this time it’s… completely different. Let’s cover them and I’ll explain what I meant.
This month – no team won 33 games apart from Eintracht Frankfurt. Problem with Eintracht – different players performed on a different level each game. Only highlight I can think of is Kostic. Filip had a decent month with 1 goal in a win vs Freiburg (that were far ahead of them in table) and last minute assist vs Union Berlin. Overall, Eintracht climbed high enough this month in table and before it they had 1 win in 9 games, now it’s 4 win 13. If Kostic wins – he’d be 87 rated card, but you already saw it, when we got EL RTTK card. I think even if he’ll get nominated he won’t win it, due to him not really being a standout player and 2 contributions might not be enough.
Next up, I have Bundesliga newcomers for this season – Bochum. I thought that Bochum would be at the bottom of the table with their fellow newcomers Greuther Furth before the start of the season, but they had a decent month and now are 3 points from play-off game and 7 points from relegation. 2 wins came vs solid Hoffenheim side and good Freiburg side, and the main man of this team was Manuel Reimann. 33 years old goalkeeper kept 2 cs in 3 games and was named MOTM in both of their wins, so he should get a solid nominee. If he wins an award – he’d be 83 rated POTM and would cost 10k max. Fun fact – he’s a goalkeeper with 5* WF and it’s pretty unusual for GKs.
Moving on to the next team that had a very nice month: Hoffenheim got 2 wins and loss in 3 games this month. Most of the people highlighting Bebou, but he scored 3 goals vs one of the worst teams in Bundesliga history and I doubt that he’ll win an award for one (it didn’t stop Nkunku to be fair). Florian Grilitsch had a solid month as CB in 3-at-the back formation. He was playing midfield for the most of his career, but this season he’s playing as CB and playing solidly. If he’ll get POTM – he’d be 84 rated CB with some fun stats for CB, maybe close to club 80 too. He’d around 40–70k imo and shouldn’t worth more. For Hoffenheim – he’s priceless, so yeah, it’d be a solid POTM. Even tho I doubt that he’ll get a nominee and pretty sure that he won’t win an award.
Next up I have Christopher Nkunku. I’m placing them in no order, so don’t think that someone is closer to victory than the other. I’m just giving my thoughts. Nkunku still had a decent showing for Leipzig, despite them losing 2 out of 3 games. He managed to get a goal and an assist vs BVB and got a SIF for that game, he got an assist vs Bayer Leverkusen, where they lost 3-1, but he was the best player from Leipzig. He also had a pretty average game vs Hoffenheim, but whole Leipzig didn’t show up that day. Overall, if Nkunku wins – he’ll be 89 rated POTM already and will be one of the best CMs in the game. Maybe even the best. Previous POTM costed 250k, so this one would be around 400k. Or even more. I think a lot of people would be fine with that price with links and how good card is.
Next up is Jonas Hofmann from Borussia Monchengladbach. 3 goals for German international this month and he had a very good game vs Greuther Furth (who didn’t tho?) and scored 1 goal in a game vs Koln, which Borussia lost 4-1. He didn’t do much vs Mainz, but overall it’s a nice pick, especially since he got Featured TOTW few weeks ago. He’d get 87 rated card and would worth around 50k, I guess. Maybe someone will use that card, but for most of them it’s a fodder.
Next German International that had a good month + good international break – Marco Reus from BVB. He had 2 goals and 1 assist. 1 goal in a win over Stuttgart, 1 goal vs Leipzig in 2-1 loss and assist in 3-1 win over Wolfsburg. Marco is in good form, and despite Haland injury, he managed to carry BVB for a bit and overall, they come to Der Klassiker in a good form and only 1 point behind Bayern. Reus would be 87 card and would be quite cheap, considering his RTTK that will get 0 upgrades, so I’d expect a price for 200k or so. Maybe a bit more, because Reus is really popular card, and a lot of people would complete his SBC.
And the last German that I nominate is Thomassist Muller. Another month with 3 assists for Thomass, even tho Bayern had pretty average month: 2-1 loss vs Augsburg, 1-0-win vs Bielefeld, 2-1 win vs Freiburg. In every single game Muller got an assist and I’d say he deserves to be at least nominated. It’s funny that Muller hasn’t won a POTM yet in FUT history, because he’s breaking every possible assist record in Bundesliga and keeps on playing on insane level. He’d 89 rated card with some average stats and not really usable, sadly. It’s Thomas Muller in FUT and sadly he needs some premium SBC or TOTS to be good. 100k max price for him.
In summary: I can’t choose a winner this month. Everyone feels like he deserves it, and everyone feels like not a standout to me. I guess popularity contest this time and it’s going to be between Reus or Nkunku. If I got to choose – Nkunku, just because of his performance vs BVB. So yeah, give me your thoughts, because I have no idea who will win!
