Hello and welcome to Player Of The Month Predictions for Bundesliga for March. Hardest month of top 5 leagues to predict for me, as it was pretty average month for many players and teams. No team had perfect month, no one won 3 games out of 3 and no one played that amazingly. Overall, I don’t expect a very good result in predicting players, but let’s hope I’ll get few of them right.

As there are 6 candidates we’re starting right away. First one is Marius Wolf from BVB. Borussia Dortmund was closest to winning 3 games out of 3, but drew in the last one vs Koln. They still won 2 games and both those win were 1-0. So out of 3 goals scored this month – Wolf scored 66% (or just 2, stop with this math). Wolf was unusual hero for BVB, but as they’ve got plenty of injuries – BVB fans were very happy to see him on scoresheet. He actually had fun card last year with good stats at RWB position, while he was on loan, but this potential POTM would be 84 rated Right-mid with some very decent stats for a full back in 3-at the back formation. Wouldn’t cost more than 20k in my opinion.

Next player is, how people call him right now, Thomas Muller regen. Jesper Lindstrom looks like him, but also plays well, like Muller, so not only looks in common. Frankfurt also had a good month with 2 wins out of 3 games and it’s possible to see someone being nominated from them. They won 4-1 vs Hertha and 2-1 vs Bochum. They are still in the middle of the table, but still have a chance at European spot next season. Jesper scored 1 goal vs Hertha and assisted an important goal vs Bochum. Sadly, despite having overall solid season – his card only 71 rated, so his POTM would be 82 rated and wouldn’t cost more than 10k in my opinion.

Next one is important one. Stuttgart, before this month, was in relegation zone and I thought they were a bit doomed. But they went and won 2 out of 3 games, came back in two 3-2 wins and drew with solid Union. Solid month for Stuttgart, but for me – if I had to choose one player from them – it would be Borna Sosa. Their best performer this season got 3 assists in all 3 games and was the main reason they had a good run. Stuttgart are still in relegation battle, as they are only 1 point ahead of 17th Bielefeld, but before this month they looked pretty doomed. 7 points out of 9 were healthy for them. He would be 84 rated card and would worth around 20k IMO.

Next one is player from top club. RB Leizpig had pretty average month with 2 draws and 1 win, but one player from them had a good month. No, it’s not Nkunku. He also had a good month, but I’m tired of Nkunku POTMs. NO MORE NKUNKU. At least not this month. Angelino would be my choice from Leipzig, as he scored 90th minute goal vs Freiburg to draw a game 1-1 and got 2 assists in 6-1 win over Greuther Furth. Emil Forsberg is also a candidate, but he got 1 goal and 2 assists in 1 game and it looks worse to me than Angelino, who also kept CS vs Frankfurt. This would be first Angelino card, which would be unusual, as he usually had multiple specials by now, but still – if he wins POTM he would be 86 rated one. Not many people would use him, because there’re other options. Would cost around 20k In my opinion.

Next up, we have Robert Lewandowski. Another month, another Lewa nominee, another robbery. I still don’t understand how can man with 31 goals in 27 games not win a single POTM this season, but here we are. Another month with 3 goals for Lewa in 3 games. He missed a target only vs Bayer, but he scored in 1-1 draw vs Hoffie and scored 2 goals vs Union in 4-0 win. Lewa had already few special cards this year and this POTM would be 95 rated already. Excited to see what rating his TOTS will be (higher or the same as TOTY). His POTM would cost around 200k and I guess few people would complete this SBC, if he wins an award.

And last, but not least – favorite for this month – it’s David Raum from Hoffenheim. German full back having an amazing season with 2 goals and 8 assists to his name and this month wasn’t an exception. He got 1 assist vs Koln in 1-0 win and got 1 assists in 1-1 draw vs Bayern. Sadly, Hoffenheim lost 3-0 to Hertha, but still he was highly rated, even in defeat. Raum already had 3 Ifs this season, so this POTM would be pinnacle before TOTS. This card would be 87 rated with some amazing stats and probably would be better than Davies POTM. I think he’d be worth around 100k, as it’d be really good card. Still, you may complete him – if he wins, but he should get TOTS rather soon.

Felt like this was a month of Full-backs. Wolf, Sosa, Raum, Angelino – all would be well rounded cards. I think Lewa should get at least 1 POTM, but probably not this month. I prefer Raum, to be fair and if he wins – I’ll get his card for sure (I was paid to say this by my Hoffenheim friend). But for real – he deserves a card (paid again). I think 3 main candidates: Sosa (as he was very important for Stuttgart good run, Lewa with 3 goals and 0 POTMs yet and Raum, for his 2 assists and very good games. Any of them would be nice.
