FIFA 22: Player of the Month Predictions - Bundesliga February POTM
Hello and Welcome to February POTM Predictions for Bundesliga. This was a very fun month in Bundesliga. As per usual – it delivered and had a lot of good performances over the month. This month was good for many teams, but ones that especially stood out for me are RB Leipzig, Hoffenheim, Bayer Leverkusen and of course Bayern.
Those 4 teams had a good month and they only dropped points once in a whole month, so of course they’ll get nominees in this article. There are a lot of teams fighting for the 3rd and 4th spots in Buli and that race is hella exciting this season.
So, we’re starting with Koln player, as a surprise one. He’d be the lowest rated out of all and that still would be a good card. Timo Hubers had a wonderful month for Koln with 2 wins and 1 draw and 1 loss. Hubers got MOTM in 3 out of 4 games, he didn’t score, but he was consistently good in defense. Koln kept 2 cs in 4 games and that’s a good result for them. Most memorable part of Koln’s month – it’s popular video of their coach sitting in quarantine with his family and screaming at his TV. Hubers potential card would be 82 rated one with good pace. I’d like to see Silver POTMs – this card would fit perfectly. Of course potential price of that card is around 10k.
Next one I have is player from Hoffenheim, which won 34 games this month and Christoph Baumgartner, who scored 2 goals and assisted one time. Young Austrian prodigy scored 2 wonderful goals in 2-1 comeback vs Stuttgart on the last match day and assisted crucial goal in 2-1 comeback vs Wolfsburg. If I’m not mistaken – Hoffenheim is the best team in the league on “coming from behind” stat and they managed to get 6 last points from losing positions and coming back in 2nd half. Overall, Baumi, as fans call him – had a good month and shined in latest TOTW with featured card, so if he wins POTM – he’d have very nice 87 rated card with some class stats. Overall, not so hyped card, so I expect price of 35-45k for him.
Next one is Robert Lewangoalski with another 5 goals in 4 games. Casual result for him. Despite Bayern losing mad game vs Bochum with 4-2 result – he still scored 2. He scored 2 more vs Greuther Furth and scored 1 vs Leipzig. I think he’s not a favorite due to what level of opponents he scored goals – not the best and it may be a crucial factor. Overall – Bayern struggled this month, probably it’s been the worst month under Julian Naggelsmann and they need to get their stuff together, as they have important UCL games coming up. Lewa would be 95 rated POTM with some sick stats, but no one uses Lewy this year so I guess he’ll be like 120k.
Coming next is Marco Reus. He performed insanely well in 2 games that would guarantee him this POTM if he’d do something in other games. Maybe it’ll be still fine, as 4 goals and 3 assists in those 2 games – amazing result, one of the better ones this month. BVB may have lost Championship, but their captain been good. He had one insane game with 2 goals and 3 assists, he should’ve scored more, but Emre Can took a pen instead of him. Reus would be 88 rated and would cost something like 70k, in my mind. Still awesome card to have and potentially nice TOTS or some other type of a special card.
Then we moving on to young and exciting team: Bayer Leverkusen. They also had 3 wins out of 4 games and they had the most fun this month with amount of goals scored. Wirtz could be nominated, but I went with Diaby.5 goals and 1 assist in 4 games is amazing result for ex PSG player. Winger having a lot of fun and finally getting to his potential in FUT career. He already got 3 IFS, so his POTM would be 89 rated card with some sick stats. Pace maxed out, so other stats would be boosted. I think potential price is 100k and it’d be a well good card.
And the last, but not least. The man, the menace of FUT 22: 2nd Cristopher in predictions – Nkunku from Leipzig. Another month with 5 goals to his name and very good month for Leipzig, despite losing to Bayern in very close 3-2 game. Nkunku scored in every game and he looks insane under Tedesco, same as for Marsch. But now they are in race for 3rd spot and can actually win games. 90 rated potential POTM with some sick stats and around 600k for his card, as his HL costs 500k and dynamic?
Choose a winner for yourself, as I think everyone deserves it. I think everyone deserves it, honestly – one of the better months and a lot of good nominees. Probably Diaby for me winning it, as he’s got a lot of praise lately and 2 Ifs in 1 month is a bit too hard to ignore. Everyone would have a nice POTM. Good month.
