FIFA 22: Marquee Matchup Predictions 3rd of March
Hello and welcome to Marquee Matchup predictions for another week of FUT.
Last week we got big 34, this week should be the same as we’ve got some good matches in every league. We’ve got big games in Bundesliga, Premier League, some games in Italy and France, so let’s see how it goes.
Let’s hope for a good result and let’s start it.
Bayern vs Bayer Leverkusen
Big game in Bundesliga. 1st vs 3rd, both very high scoring teams and we should see some a lot of goals. Both teams are looking to achieve their goals: Bayern to win championship, and for Leverkusen not to choke UCL for next season. So yeah, game will be intense and I honestly can’t predict the winner. Bayern in big games usually been successful this season, but they seems to be lazy vs lesser teams. Leverkusen been fun with their attack and good team overall. One of the better games this weekend.

Manchester City vs Manchester United
Speaking about better games. We should get Manchester Derby this week and it’s exciting for a lot of reasons: Manchester City can’t afford to drop points, as Liverpool very close to them. Manchester United chasing 4th spot and their latest results been decent, but dropped points will play for their rivals. Currently Arsenal sits more comfortable than United with game in hands. So yeah, this game should be close, intense and very cool to watch, as there’s a lot at stake. United usually plays decent at Etihad, that’s why some Liverpool fans are hopeful for a nice result. City still amazing team and I think they’ll be back to their best.

Nice vs PSG Marseille vs Monaco
2 good games in France. It’s 1st vs 3rd and 2nd vs 9th in table. PSG is far far ahead in table from any of their rivals and overall their games don’t matter much, but as for Nice – they are looking to get into Champions League and every point counts, especially with how close Ligue 1 table this season. Nice is actually one of the teams that I think can challenge PSG next year, just because their manager did that successfully with Lille last year. Nice have a lot of potential and their attack of Gouiri and Delort are one of the most exciting in France.
Marseille and Monaco both been struggling this season. Overall 2 teams are close to each other in terms of level. Marseille just a bit far ahead of Monaco in table due to being more stable team. I still don’t know why Monaco changed Manager from Nico Kovac, I don’t think a lot changed – but it’s their choice. I expect some fun result and I think we can call it a derby of south cities.

Roma vs Atalanta Napoli vs Milan
2 very exciting games in Italy this weekend. Roma sit at 6th spot and Atalanta at 5th spot. Both teams challenging for 4th spot. Atalanta technically sit there, but Juve have more points due to more games played. Atalanta struggled this year due to a lot of injuries. Just way too many for them. Roma actually only 3 points away from Atalanta, and Mourinho doing not so terrible there. I expect a lot of goals, but as I say that – I can expect 1-1 draw or something like this, that would fit the narrative that I expect way too much.
Napoli vs Milan is pretty important game this weekend. 1st vs 2nd in table, while Inter dropped some points lately. Napoli have a real chance to win a title and they’ve been close several times in recent 10 years. Milan sit on the same amount of points and haven’t won a title in 10 years, so they’d like to win it too. Race for Scudetto in Serie A is sensational and can’t wait to see how it unfolds. Ending of the season should be very fun and exciting.

What to invest in: As per usual – get 1-2 player from each team or just league and you’ll be safe. Requirements are quite easy so far, so I don’t expect anything exceptional.
