FIFA 22: Marquee Matchup Predictions 3rd of February
Hello and welcome to Marquee Matchup predictions for another week of FUT.
Last week I managed to get 34 somehow during that week. Probably low amount of matches helped me this time, so yeahhh I consider myself lucky Missed Brazil vs Ecuador, as I thought it wouldn’t matter much in the table. But whatever.
This week should be better. There are a lot of top European matches and a lot of choices. I’m hoping to get this week 34 or better. We’ll see how it goes.
Bayern vs Leipzig BVB vs Bayer
2 crazy good games in Bundesliga. We’re about to witness battle between ex-Leizpig coach, Captain and their most expensive defender vs their ex team. Bayern of course needs to win a game to be in control of title, while Leizpig are on a good run (3 wins in a row) and they are aiming at UCL with new coach. It’ll be a game after international break, so interesting how it unfolds. Both teams are on 34 for their Headliners upgrades, so it’s either 1 team resets streak or both. Kimmich and Gnabry upgrades would be cool, while Nkunku would be even cooler, I guess?
BVB vs Bayer is 2nd vs 3rd. Both very exciting, young and fun teams to watch, but separated by 6 points in table. Bayer needs points to be in control of 3rd spot and BVB can’t afford to drop points if they are interested in chasing Bayern
Most likely requirements:
-1 player per team
-Team overall 78-80+
-Overall Chemistry 80+
-At least 3 rares
-Max players per league: 4
Monaco vs Lyon Lille vs PSG
2 more good games, now in France. Monaco vs Lyon is a battle for UCL. Both teams aren’t far away from UCL spot and every point moves them closer to that sweet UCL spot. Lyon entering very hard stage of the season, where they are playing their direct rivals of the table and now needs to be more careful with results. They started with a win vs Marseille and need to continue that. Monaco had some mixed results with new manager. Yes, they sacked Kovac and appointed new manager from Brugge, so we’ll see how it goes.
Lille vs PSG – ex champions vs clear leaders of the league. PSG never convincing me while they play. Lille struggle this year, despite having very nice squad and David scoring for fun. We’ll see how it goes. Pretty hard game to predict, you just don’t know about PSG this season.
Most likely requirements:
-1 player per teamleague
-Team overall 76-78+
-Overall Chemistry 80+
-Max players per nation: 3
Barcelona vs Atletico Madrid
Well, big game in La Liga. I’ve used a lot of “big” in this article, but this is really big game. Battle for UCL infront of us. 2 teams battle for 4th spot in interesting game. Barca changed their squad a bit in winter and we might see first appearance of Auba in Barca shirt. Atletico didn’t change their squad that match. Still, both teams aren’t convincing this season and it’ll be interesting with what Simeone will come up vs Xavi. GOING TO BE A MUST WATCH GAME.
Most likely requirements:
-1 player per teamleague
-Team overall 78-80+
-Overall Chemistry 80+
-Max players per nation: 3
Inter Milan vs Milan (Milan)
Another BIG game. Milan derby in Italy. 1st vs 2nd in Italy, title game and everything. Inter are way too good this season and Milan had few shaky results, so odds not in favor of Milan, but this is derby and everything can happen. I won’t even speak about it a lot, but Inter signed Gosens and Caicedo, even tho Gosens won’t play yet (IIRC he’s injured) and Caicedo is a super sub. Milan didn’t do much on the transfer market due to their financial difficulties, but still going strong. Should be a banger.
Most likely requirements:
-1 player per clubleague
-Team overall 76-78+
-Overall Chemistry 80+
-Max players per nation: 3
Wildcard game of the week: Melbourne City vs Perth Glory in A-League this weekend.
What to invest in: As per usual – get 1-2 player from each team or just league and you’ll be safe. Requirements are quite easy so far, so I don’t expect anything exceptional.
