FIFA 22: Marquee Matchup Predictions 28th of October
Hey guys, it’s Tillian and it’s Marquee Matchups predictions for the another week of FUT.
Last week we got 34. Surprised that they went with Lyon-Nice over Marseille-PSG, but in a long run it was worth it. Lyon-Nice delivered one of the best comebacks of the season so far, while OM-PSG finished 0-0.
Let’s try this week to get 44 and finish this month strongly.
This weekend is good. Not like the last one, but still very nice. We’ve got good games in England, Italy, Spain and Germany and I won’t even cover low leagues, because main action in these 4 leagues.
Let’s do it:
Tottenham vs Manchester United Leicester vs Arsenal
Last week they ignored United – Liverpool game, so I’m including Man United again. People on socials calling this game “El Sackico” due to shaky positions of both managers and it should be pretty interesting and close game. I mean Manchester United is still probably a favorite for this clash just because of better squad, but let’s see how it goes.
Leicester vs Arsenal look very close on paper. Leicester started to perform better lately and same goes to Arsenal. London club hasn’t lost a game since Man City trashing, so again I expect pretty close game.

Bayer vs Wolfsburg
Clash in Bundesliga that looks very good on paper. Few games ago Bayer got demolished by Bayern and Wolfsburg sacked their manager this week. So both teams are looking to get back on track. Bayer still looks superior as they are playing pretty well this season and new manager of Wolfsburg doesn’t convince me, as he was previously sacked by Werder Bremen. Wolfsburg had a good run, but manager change didn’t go as well as I assume they supposed it to go.

Atalanta vs LazioRoma vs Milan
Another good weekend of Serie A games. Every week we’re getting a banger or two in that league. Gosh, I love Serie A. This weekend on the menu we have Atalanta vs Lazio as really exciting battle of 2 different managers: Gasperini vs Sarri. Lazio been struggling a bit lately with few losses: 4-1 to Hellas and 3-0 to Bologna, so I guess they’d like to get some revenge. Atalanta starting to slowly build up their confidence and after a bit of slow start – they are now 3rd in table. Should be a good game.
Roma vs Milan is interesting too. Milan sitting 1st in table with 9 wins and 1 draw and that’s their best start of the season in ages. Roma under Mourinho is enigma so far. Biggest loss of Mourinho’s career came with Roma to BodeGlimt in Conference League. They drew with Napoli last week and it was a good result, considering how good Napoli started the season. Should be a great one too.

Valencia vs Villarreal Real Sociedad vs Athletic Bilbao
Decade ago these clubs were fighting for UCL spots, 5 years ago they were fighting for latter stages of UEL, nowadays Valencia in crisis, while Villarreal just won UEL and this season going pretty mediocre. They are still not out of races in La Liga and UCL, but a lot of draws. Their squad is exciting. I like Valencia too, they got proper good manager. So I expect another close game. Let’s see!
And 2nd game is Basque derby, Real Sociedad fighting for top spots of the league and Bilbao this season is decent, so this game can be in MMs too.

What to invest in: As per usual – get 1-2 player from each team or just league and you’ll be safe. Requirements are quite easy so far, so I don’t expect anything exceptional.
