FIFA 22: Marquee Matchup Predictions 23rd of December
Hello and welcome to Marquee Matchup predictions for another week of FUT.
Last week they caught me by surprise and didn’t include anyone from weekend games and obviously I didn’t hit anything but 04. So this week will be my revenge, I’m trying to hit 44 and will try my best. Let’s do this.
Manchester City vs Leicester Liverpool vs Leeds
2 very good fixtures in PL. First one is Man City vs Leicester – they’ve met quite a lot in recent year, due to some cup fixtures, so they meet one more time this year. Leicester this season struggling a lot and they are sitting in mid of the table, while City are on 1st place and 3 points ahead of Liverpool right now, so they can’t afford to lose a lot of points.
While we’re about that – Liverpool vs Leeds is another game that can be featured. It’s not a big of a rivalry, but still nice fixture. Leeds having 2nd season syndrome and struggling, but still I doubt that they’ll get relegated. Well, game vs Liverpool will be hard because of COVID and injuries. Liverpool also have COVID cases, but still will be a fun game to watch.
There are some other games, but I doubt that they’ll be included.
Most likely requirements:
-1 player per team
-Team overall 77-79+
-Overall Chemistry 80+
-At least 3 rares
-Max players per league: 4
QPR vs Bournemouth
Decent game in Championship. Bournemouth sit at 2nd place with 2 points behind Fulham, while QPR sit at 5th place and in territory of possible play offs. Bournemouth are 8 points ahead of QPR and it shouldn’t be close on paper, but both teams are solid this year. Championship as usual very interesting to follow, but it seems like we’ll get Fulham back in PL again. Surprise of the season for me so far: Blackburn who sit at 3rd place only 3 points behind Fulham. Brerenton Diaz doing some good work there.
Most likely requirements:
-1 player per teamleague
-Team overall 65-70+
-Overall Chemistry 80+
-Max players per nation: 3
RUSG vs Gent
Now we move on to Belgium league. Royale Union are leading in this league with 6 points gap to 2nd place. RUSG is love, RUSG is life. Newly promoted team looking at their title. Now they meet Gent, which sits at 6th spot and 13 points behind. Rookie numbers, get on RUSG level. This game on paper should have a lot of goals. In 20 games of RUSG there were 70 goals scored and in 20 games of Gent there were 55 goals scored. I don’t often watch Belgium Pro League, but when I do – I watch RUSG. Don’t miss the hype train. Deniz Undav will score.
Most likely requirements:
-1 player per teamleague
-Team overall 66-72+
-Overall Chemistry 80+
-Max players per nation: 3
Galatasaray vs Antalyaspor
Another good fixture in Turkish league. We haven’t had Fener vs Besiktas last week, but this is it. This is the chance to make it right: Galatasaray sit at 11th spot (holy moly) and 6 points away from European spots, while Antalyaspor are 2 points behind of them and sit at 13th spot. There are some fun players playing for Antalyaspor, that people may recognize them: Nuri Sahin, Andrea Poli, Haji Wright, Fedor Kudryashov (Russian Propaganda) and others. On paper should be a very good game and I wouldn’t say that Galatasaray is a favorite.
Most likely requirements:
-1 player per clubleague
-Team overall 76-78+
-Overall Chemistry 80+
-Max players per nation: 3
And the last game that is possible to be in MMs – game from A-League between Melbourne Victory vs Western United FC. Why I chose this game? Honestly because of table: Western United sit at 2nd place with 12 points out of 15, Melbourne Victory are 3rd with 10 out of 15. So this is on paper very close game. Western United scored 4 goals and conceded 1 in 5 games, so that means their games are ending 1-0 or 0-1, while Melbourne Victory got 14 goals in 10 games. Should be fun.
What to invest in: As per usual – get 1-2 player from each team or just league and you’ll be safe. Requirements are quite easy so far, so I don’t expect anything exceptional.
