FIFA 22: Marquee Matchup Predictions 20th of January
Hello and welcome to Marquee Matchup predictions for another week of FUT.
Last week we got somewhat decent result in 34 games. I’m sad that we didn’t get 44 in a long time, but I think it’s a perfect week for that. There are a lot of good games, in every league. Big games, derbies, eternal rivalries – we’ve got all that stuff this weekend. Going to be exciting.
I would like a showdown card in FUT for this week’s fixture. Any fixture. Choose by yourselves.
Chelsea vs Spurs
Fun game in Premier League. London derby. Teams played not long ago in League Cup, where Chelsea won both games, but it was interesting and intense battle. This week’s fixture will be even more heated, I’m sure that Spurs would like a revenge, while Chelsea been struggling in Prem for a long time. Their recent performances been average. Should be a close game. Also battle of 3 at the back formations should be fun to watch.

-Overall Chemistry 80+
-At least 3 rares
-Max players per league: 4
Atletico Madrid vs Valencia
Should be an obvious pick in La Liga. They are separated only by 4 points, Valencia are decent enough this season, Atletico (in my opinion) are horrible. But they are still in Top-4 race and it’ll be interesting how it unfolds between 6 or so teams. Table is close in La Liga, it’s exciting this year. And those 4K CAMERAS. They are fantastic for viewing. Tune in to watch this game, it’s going to be a good one. First game between them this season finished 3-3 with amazing Valencia comeback.

OL vs ASSE
One of the most decorated derbies in Ligue 1. History between those 2 teams are fantastic. I’m expecting another incident with fans, as per usual for this season of Ligue 1. Both teams are performing under their expectations. Lyon sit in the middle of the table, while Saint-Etienne sit in relegation zone. Both teams screwed this season, but they still can give their fans a lot of joy with a win in this derby. To be fair – Lyon still can get into higher spots, if they win few games consistently. That’s what they’ve been missing this season – consistency.

Milan vs Juventus
Another banger in Serie A. Again and again I’m including games from Serie A as it’s best league for neutral to watch. Milan vs Juve should be really exciting game. Juve in good form, Milan are somewhat good too, so we should see a close battle between 2 giants of Serie A. It’s going to be a crucial battle for Top-4, as Juve are few points behind Top 4 right now. Milan still chasing Inter and it’s going to be exciting 2nd part of the season in Serie A, can’t wait!

There are few games from Bundesliga. I decided to go with Hoffenheim vs BVB as it’s 2nd vs 4th, while there’s also a game between Wolfsburg and Leipzig. So called “El Plastico” in Germany. Both games can be included. I’d say Hoffie vs BVB is more likely, due to it importance. Both clubs lost in Pokal too, so they should be fired up and ready to serve fans some mad football. Overall – as per usual Bundesliga very exciting and I suggest you watching both games.
And of course, for Wildcard pick of the week: PSV vs Ajax. Should be in MMs no matter what. 1st vs 2nd and PSV ain’t 2nd. Teams are separated by 1 point, even tho Ajax has much better goal difference. It’s going to be a blast, probably one of the most important games in Eredivisie season. Maybe the most one.
What to invest in: As per usual – get 1-2 player from each team or just league and you’ll be safe. Requirements are quite easy so far, so I don’t expect anything exceptional.
