FIFA 22: Marquee Matchup Predictions 17th of March
Hello and welcome to Marquee Matchup predictions for another week of FUT.
Pretty awful result last week, so let’s just forget about it and move on. Was a hard week, but not an excuse to me. Need to do better and I probably will, as this week is perfect for a good result. There are big games nearly in every league and it’s going to be very exciting weekend.

Real Madrid vs Barcelona
Well, it’s El Clasico time. What can I say: both teams are in decent shape and can produce us a very good game between themselves. Barca are rushing into UCL spot and now looks like they are safe, but they still have to play hard opponents. Real Madrid are cruising through the league and can win it safely if all goes according to their plan. I’m sure both teams would hate losing in game like this, when it’s a lot on stakes, so let’s hope that game will deliver some classic action and not boring draw.

Spurs vs West Ham
London derby in Premier League. Not only that, but also should be a very close game. Both teams are still challenging for top 4 spot, despite both dropping points lately. Spurs vs West Ham always deliver nice game and always a lot of action in it. A lot at stakes and it’s going to be interesting to see how both teams will perform in this game. Big questions is… can they catch up to Arsenal or not? It’s going to be a blast – watching top 4 race unfold. There are 4 candidates for 1 spot and it’s fun to watch as a neutral.

BVB vs Koln Wolfsburg vs Bayer RB Leipzig vs Frankfurt
There are 3 good games in Bundesliga that all can be featured. While BVB vs Koln is closest in table (2nd vs 7th), I think other games can be featured. Bundesliga is fun due to 4 teams challenging for 2 UCL spots and every game is important at this stage of the season. Bayer just lost Wirtz to ACL and it’s very unfortunate news to them, as they were looking really good before that. Leipzig are looking like the most solid team and Tedesco really transformed them after New Year. End to the season going to be very exciting and I can’t wait to see how it unfolds.

Roma vs Lazio Marseille vs Nice
I’ve mixed 2 leagues in 1 part. Roma vs Lazio is a Rome derby between 2 very close teams. They are separated by 1 point at the moment and still challenging for European Cups. Juve a bit far away from them and I don’t think that they’ll be able to get into UCL, as they are very unstable, but overall both can fight for ELConference League spots. Teams are managed by completely different styles of managers, but both are equally fun. In Lazio games there has already been scored 100 goals in 28 games and that’s more than 3 goals per game. Going to be a must watch too.
Marseille vs Nice is a game between 2nd and 3rd spots in Ligue 1. Both teams are aiming to get UCL for next year and both team are equally good. Some prefer style of Galtier (who manages Nice), some prefer Sampaoli (who manages OM). Teams are separated only by goal difference and it’s going to be interesting who “wins” the race for 2nd spot, as 1st already occupied by PSG and doesn’t look like that will change this year.

Wildcard game of the week: Ajax vs Feyenoord. Another quality game in Netherlands. 2 teams are challenging for a title and separated by 6 points. I think if Ajax wins this game – race is over for Feyenoord, but game still should be very fun and tight. Ajax sometimes maybe not a bit serious in the league, while Feyenoord had very good season compared to previous ones. I think this game should be included in MMS, despite AZ vs Twente being in last week’s MMs. Don’t miss it, should be a banger.
What to invest in: As per usual – get 1-2 player from each team or just league and you’ll be safe. Requirements are quite easy so far, so I don’t expect anything exceptional.
