FIFA 22: Marquee Matchup Predictions 17th of February
Hello and welcome to Marquee Matchup predictions for another week of FUT.
Last week we got big 34, but it was hard week, because I had to exclude some teams, because they got into MMS before that. This week I expect the same result, because I couldn’t find a lot of games and we should see some nice games.
Let’s hope for a good result and let’s start it.
Borussia Dortmund vs Borussia Monchengladbach
Borussia derby, ex Monchengladbach coach vs Monchengladbach, Reus vs his long ex. Should be a very exciting game, despite 2 teams being far away in table. They are separated by 20 points and aiming for different goals. Dortmund still have a chance to catch up to Bayern, even if it’ll be really tough. Monchengladbach lost Eberl and now are fighting for survival, only 4 points ahead of relegation zone. Game still should be exciting and good viewing for Sunday.
Most likely requirements:
-1 player per team
-Team overall 76-79+
-Overall Chemistry 80+
-At least 3 rares
-Max players per league: 4
Manchester City vs Tottenham Leeds vs Manchester United
Great fixture in Premier League for a nice Saturday evening. Manchester City are in control of 1st place, and it seems only like Liverpool can challenge them for 1st place, but even then – they are 6 points ahead of them and should be safe. Spurs are battling for 4th place, and they had rough patch of games lately, with losing 2 games at home in a row. Maybe they’ll be angry, maybe they’ll come out as losers at the start. Conte still needs to do a lot of work there and it’s looking really hard for him, because it’s Spurs. Should be a safe bet for MMs, as there are no other great PL games on a weekend.
2nd possible game is Leeds vs Manchester United. Old rivalry can be included, just because of the history between those 2 teams. It’s less likely that this game will be included.
Most likely requirements:
-1 player per teamleague
-Team overall 78-80+
-Overall Chemistry 80+
-Max players per nation: 3
Valencia vs Barcelona Athletic vs Real Sociedad
2 good games in Spain. First one is a nice game between 2 solid teams. Barca aiming at UCL spot, while Valencia aiming at Europa League or Conference League. Games between them are high scoring lately, at least 4 goals per game, so I hope we’ll see a repeat of that. Barca sitting at 4th place, but their real challenges are coming up next, Valencia had a bad mix of games, so they’ll look to bounce back after bad results.
2nd game is Basque derby. Both Basque teams are playing well this season: Sociedad only 1 point away from Barcelona and 4th spot, while Athletic are 4 points away from Sociedad, and their season are looking much better than few previous ones. Both games are nice and maybe included, but I’d bet on this one more likely.
Most likely requirements:
-1 player per teamleague
-Team overall 75-77+
-Overall Chemistry 80+
-Max players per nation: 3
Inter vs Sassuolo
On paper it looks really exciting game. Yes, Sassuolo are far from Inter and Euro cup zone, but still, every time they play Inter – it’s very nice game to watch. Inter are also aiming at 2 Sassuolo players in the next transfer window, so it’ll be like a trial for them. Inter must win their games, if they are looking to repeat last season’s success, as they are now 1 point away from 1st place Milan (even tho, they still have 1 game in hand).
Most likely requirements:
-1 player per clubleague
-Team overall 76-78+
-Overall Chemistry 80+
-Max players per nation: 3
Wildcard game of the week: Anderlecht vs Genk. Good game in Belgium. Genk having a rough season with 10 losses and 10 points away from Anderlecht, who are 12 points away from mighty RUSG. Historically it’s really nice game, but it’s really unlikely that we’ll get it.
What to invest in: As per usual – get 1-2 player from each team or just league and you’ll be safe. Requirements are quite easy so far, so I don’t expect anything exceptional.
