FIFA 21 Team of The Week Predictions: Week 24
Hello and welcome to week 24 of our TOTW Predictions
Last few weeks were bad in terms of overall right predicted players, but I’m in full force this week to change it. It’s a good week to do that too, so I’ll try my best.
Overall there are a lot of players to choose from, a lot of great performances. Lewa could’ve been in TOTW, but he was in TOTW last week kinda underservedly, so I flipped the switch and included Goretzka this week too, because he scored important goal for Bayern and had 2 on Kicker (Sane too, but I want justice for Leon).
Main contenders this week are: Insigne, Kane, Ilicic, Alba and few others.
A lot of choices, as I’ve said. Let’s start with defense: I went with Dean Henderson over Luke Shaw, due to me not having an option for starting GK and Henderson having MOTM too. Christensen was MOTM for Chelsea in midweek game against Liverpool, Tah got 1.5 on Kicker vs Gladbach and overall played very good. Alba got 1 goal and CS for Barca against Osasuna and should be in TOTW too.
In midfield: Insigne played important part in Napoli 3-1 win on Sunday with 2 goals. Nkunku did the same vs Freiburg, even tho apparently Kampl was MOTM. Ilicic played crucial part of Crotone’s demolition midweek with 1 goal and 1 assist. Tadic was great for Ajax against Groningen with 1 goal from penalty spot, 1 assist and 1 amazing pre-assist.
Kane – pretty obvious: amazing game with 2 goals and 2 assists for Spurs. Same goes for Morata with 2 goals and 1 assist against Lazio.
On the bench we have: Kaderabek with 2 assists and 2.0 on Kicker for Hoffenheim vs Wolfsburg, Kent for 1 goal and 1 assist in league-winning game for Rangers, Nolito for 1G and 1A in 4-3 thriller on Sunday. Romarinho who was once Silver Stars should get upgraded to 83 from 74 Silver, as we’ve seen with Romero from Atalanta. Alexis Sanchez got 2 goals in midweek game for Inter.
That’s probably it. Hopefully I explained more to you this week and it’ll help you understand my decisions.
Good luck with your reds and packs!
