FIFA 21 Team of the Week Prediction: Week 35

Last week of Top 5 leagues and overall most leagues in the world. It was fun. Last match days delivered drama and action, as expected and TOTW should show that for sure.

We’ll start with Premier League, I guess. Highlights: Liverpool are in Champions League, Chelsea too despite losing a game, Leicester aren’t. Spurs finished above Arsenal, Leeds are in top half of the table and that’s probably it. Oh and City are champions, but that was known way before. So… to start – Mane for 2 goals vs Palace for Liverpool, Pepe for 4 goals in 2 games for Arsenal, Rodrigo for Leeds for having a very nice week too. Also, to add: West Ham finished in Europa League zone, so they should get Fornals IF for a nice final game. I added Fernandinho for 2 assists in City game, over Aguero, because Aguero already got a lot of different cards, especially SBCs.

Moving on to Serie A: I include Morata for a nice game against Bologna and securing UCL spot for Juve (mostly because Napoli screwed it all up), Kjaer for very good performance vs Atalanta (even though he deserved TOTS in my opinion) and that’s it? Like there’s no one to choose from. Maybe someone from Inter 5-1 win will get it, but it’s hard to include anyone from that game, as all players got nearly same marks.

Moving on to Bundesliga: Koln survived last minute, BVB got 3rd, Union Berlin finished in Conference league and Lewa broke all time record. I include Burki for a solid game for BVB vs Bayer, despite conceding a penalty. Bornauw for very important goal for Koln against Schalke. Have no idea what they’ll do with Lewy – he should get some Record Breaker card, but I don’t think it’ll happen.

In La Liga – Atletico won a title, Real finished 2nd, Barca 3rd, Sevilla 4th, Sociedad 5th, Betis 6th and Villarreal 7th. Elche survived with a 2-0 win in the last game and I think we’ll see a player from them. Cillesen had a good game for Valencia in 0-0 draw, Felipe had a good game for Atletico and other possible players from Atletico got TOTS already, Modric played 2 great games for Real over the week.

And last but not least: Ligue 1. Jonathan David with 8 from L’eqiupe and a goal that nearly secured championship for Lille (Yilmaz pen just confirmed it), Maripan with a good game for Monaco that secured them UCL spot (even tho he might get TOTS too). Not a lot of other choices, but it is what it is.

I included few players from Belgium league, as there were some deciding fixtures too: Brugge won championship (pretends to be shocked) and Vaneken scored 2 to secure it in 3-3 draw.
Good luck in your packs and rewards from WL, I hope TOTW will be somewhat close to what I predict, as last week was kinda meh.
