FIFA 21: Player of the Month Prediction - Bundesliga November POTM
New Month – New POTM. Let’s discuss POTM for November in Bundesliga.
Very interesting month for POTM, because there were a lot of candidates, that are equal to each other in stats.
A lot of teams performed nicely over the month. Some teams played 4 games, some 3. But at least 5 teams went unbeaten over the month: Bayern, Leipzig, Bayer, Wolfsubrg and Union Berlin. Eintracht Frankfurt went unbeaten too, but 3 draws.
In this Prediction we’ll cover 4 strikers that scored at least 4 goals: Alario, Weghorst, Kruse, Haland.
So let’s move to players?
Erling Haaland. Erling had a nice month, well, until last game. In 3 games he managed to score 5 goals, but 4 of them came in 1 game vs Hertha. BVB lost games vs Bayern and Koln this month and so that lowers chances of Haland for POTM in my opinion.
In terms of FUT – he’d be one amazing card. Not many player use Haland, but with his potential stats he can be very dangerous striker. 3* WF and 3* Skills might be a downside, but not every player uses a lot of skills and some players with 3* WF can still cause damage. 3×90+ stats look tempting too
Chances of POTM: 30%
Tips for investing:
FUTMAS is coming, so fodder should rise anyway. If Haland wins – he’ll be pretty expensive, as he’s hyped to the max and his last year’s POTM was really overpriced.
Worth investing? I wouldn’t invest in him, not just because I think he won’t win, but also fodder rarely rises for POTMs.
Estimated cost: 400-500k. Interesting. I think it’ll be closer to 500k if he wins, his SIF is around 200k, so potential 89 rated card would be at least double of that price in my opinion. Also, as we’ve seen POTMs lately haven’t been priced well, if we look at Bamba.
Max Kruse. He’s really my favorite for this month. In 4 games he managed to get 5 goals and 4 assists and Union Berlin had a very good month with 3 wins and 1 draw. Kruse really carried Union this month and if we being honest – Kruse should win it.
In Terms of FUT – he should be a nice CAM option for BundesligaGerman teams. He’s 44 and POTM will be 87 cheap card with some nice stats in shooting, passing and dribbling. Only downside is he’s a bit clunky in game, and not really popular.

Tips for investing:
I wouldn’t invest in this card, as it should be pretty cheap
Worth investing? As I’ve said – no. Just doubt that any cards will move because of Kruse
Estimated cost: 50-70k. I think it’s fair price. His 84 IF is 20k, so I doubt that this card will worth more than 70k. Good and fair price for a nice card.
Let’s cover other candidates too:
Kingsley Coman is the only Bayern player in my opinion that deserves a nomination for this month. 2 goals and 1 assist in 3 games over the month is not a lot, but still something. If he’ll get an IF in latest TOTW – his potential POTM would be 88 card, which is nice, but we already have 3 other special Bayern LWs. Potential price of this card: Between 200-250k. Bayern, French – all that plays part and makes him more expensive.
Wout Weghorst would be 87 rated card and he’d be under 70k too. Wout is your typical slow striker that is good at heading and shooting. I just like him IRL, but he also had a very nice month for Wolfsburg: 4 goals and 1 assist in 4 games, which 3 of them ended in a win. Wolfsburg overall playing well this season and currently are dark horses for UCL spot.
Lucas Alario would be 86 rated card, probably cheapest of the bunch and similar to Weghorst. He recently got 1 IF, that would boost his card a bit more. When I was making predictions – I noticed how similar are Alario and Weghorst cards are. Alario scored 4 goals in 3 games, but then didn’t play. He has lowest chance of winning in my eyes.
Angelino is a legitimate option for LB in Bundesliga with 2 upgrades, his pace would be more than 80, so he’d become more useful, 85 rated card with estimated price around 70k. He scored another 2 goals this month and got 1 assist in 2 wins and 1 draw for Leipzig. Also managed to keep 1 clean sheet, which is a bonus too. He deserves special card, if not 2 already.
I think Kruse should win it, but I’ll be happy with Weghorst too. I think Kruse deserves it so much, 9 contributions in 4 games is just too much to ignore. Bundesliga are usually good with that.
