FIFA 21 Marquee Matchups Predictions: October 29th
Hey guys, it’s Tillian and it’s Marquee Matchups predictions for the third week of FUT.
Previous week we only got 24 games, which saddens me, especially when PL pick of the week was Everton vs Soton. But whatever, 2 big games were on point, even tho they were pretty obvious choices.
Let’s try to make this week better and hit our average 34, but this week going to be harder than previous ones.
Manchester United vs Arsenal
Another week with possible Arsenal match. This time they are playing vs Manchester United, and I think it’s time for a big PL game in MMs. Both teams are in need of a victory in this game, and I think it’s going to be a good one. Even tho both teams aren’t playing well yet, I expect a very good tactical battle between 2 former players of those clubs.
Most likely requirements:
-1 Player per team
-Overall rating of 78
-at least 3 leagues
-Maximum 3 players per league
-at least 2 rare players
-90 chemistry
What to buy : As we’ve seen lately – just 1-2 players from those teams and it’s enough. If you care about Chemistry – choose from 1 nation. Probably not English, so would be easier to link to different league.
Roma vs Fiorentina
Couldn’t find more interesting game on the weekend in Serie A, so Roma vs Fiorentina sounds like the best choice. Both teams are interesting, Roma playing with veterans up top and playing interesting football, while Fiorentina grows stronger with Ribery in attack. I expect a high scoring game, so I’d love to see it included.
Most likely requirements:
-2 Players per team
-Overall rating of 75
-Maximum 3 players per league
-at least 2 rare players
-90 chemistry
What to buy : Any Italian Players from those teams. Honestly dunno what they’ll include in requirements, so maybe go Multi-national squad from Serie A.
Borussia Monchengladbach vs RB Leipzig
UCL Contenders in Bundesliga will battle against each other. I expect a very interesting game, even tho Leipzig plays kinda better atm, I wouldn’t be surprised if Monchengladbach with their balanced team will surprise Leipzig. Again, not many big fixtures over the weekend, so this game stands out for me.
Most likely requirements:
-1 player per club
-Team overall 75+
-Overall Chemistry 80+
-At least 3 rares
-Max players per league: 4
What to invest in: Again, pretty simple 1-2 players per team, so just prepare those, don’t expect something special in requirements.
Atletic Bilbao vs Sevilla
Teams sit pretty close to each other, which is surprising to me, as I expected a better results from Sevilla. 2 (usually) strong teams will play on a weekend and I think there’s a chance of that game being included. Not a highest possible one, but there’s still a chance. As Real and Barca games can’t be included – this game is the move.

-1 player per team
-Overall rating of 77
-At least 3 rares
-At least 3 teams
-90 chemistry
What to invest in: Any Spanish players. Just casual BBVA stuff. I think they won’t require more than 3, so it’s easy.
Lille vs Lyon
Last week’s Lyon game vs Monaco wasn’t included, so let’s try this again. Even more interesting game for Lyon, now it’s vs Lille. Lille are currently one of the better teams in Ligue 1, so I expect a really close game, with a lot of good performances from young players from both sides.
Most likely requirements:
-3-4 player per league
-Overall rating of 77
-At least 3 rares
-At least 3 teams
-90 chemistry
What to invest in: You can use any players that link to each other. Requirement will probably be 1 player per club.
HSV vs Sankt-Pauli
We usually get some more lower-profile game with some silver requirements and this is the best choice I’ve seen. Hamburg derby, which is very important for both clubs, very heated game, even without fans. So. If there will be a game for silver requirements – this is it.
Most likely requirements:
-1 player per nation
-Team overall 60+
-Overall Chemistry 80+
-At least 8 silvers
-Max players per league: 3
What to invest in: German players in 2nd Bundesliga. Nothing else. Probably best choice will be silver Germans from different leagues.
There are also few other games to highlight, but I don’t think they’ll be included.
