FIFA 21 Marquee Matchups Predictions: November 5th
Hey guys, it’s Tillian and it’s Marquee Matchups predictions for the another week of FUT.
Last week we’ve got another 34 and I was happy with it. Was a rough week, not a lot of games, so it’s cool that we’ve found at least 3 picks right.
Now let’s try to get 4, first time this year. I know it’s possible, because weekend is going to be good. A lot of derbies, a lot of huge games and rivalries in big leagues, and in lower leagues too.
Everton vs Manchester United Manchester City vs Liverpool
2 huge games in Premier League. Manchester United game was included last week, so there’s a small chance of it being included again. Even tho: both games are crucial. Everton, after a good start, lost 2 games in a row, but Manchester United isn’t playing well at all, especially at home. Away they are still good, so maybe there’s some sort of juju that helps them in away games. Game should be close and exciting.
Manchester City vs Liverpool is probably highlight of the weekend. What a fixture it is. It might not decide Champions yet, but still important in title race for this year. Liverpool without Virgil, City with few injuries, game is going to be close, it’s going to be exciting and it’s going to be tactical masterclass between 2 great managers.
Most likely requirements:

-Overall rating of 78
-at least 3 leagues
-Maximum 3 players per league
-at least 2 rare players
-90 chemistry
What to buy : As per usual: 1-2 players per team, should be enough, aim for rares that link to eachother, so you can easily get full chemistry.
Lazio vs Juventus
Another great fixture in Seria A, Lazio struggling with COVID in their team, but vs Juve most of the players should recover and play, so it’s going to be interesting to watch match. 2 coaches who are both former playerslegends of clubs they manage. Juve as always, going to challenge 1st place in the league, so they need this win after few unconvincing results lately.
Most likely requirements:
-2 Players per team
-Overall rating of 77
-Maximum 3 players per league
-at least 2 rare players
-90 chemistry
What to buy : This SBC screams: at least 9 nations in the squad, both teams use multi-national squads and that way EA can “honor” them in SBC. But as usual: rares for discard from both teams.
Borussia Dortmund vs Bayern Munich
What I have to say? Der Klassikier. Insane game in Bundesliga, 1st vs 2nd, only teams that are sitting on 15 points after 6 games, both are in good shape. It’s going to be close game, as it’s been lately. Bayern as usual are favorites, but I think BVB will try their hardest to win this time. I expect this game to be included 100%

-Team overall 79+
-Overall Chemistry 80+
-At least 3 rares
-Max players per league: 4
What to invest in: Well, someone like Pavard + Zagadou. But really, Bayern have few cheap rares with nice rating – it’d be a good investment imo. BVB have too much choices.
Valencia vs Real Madrid
Valencia may not be at the same level as before, but the game is still the biggest on the weekend of La Liga. Valencia struggling this season really hard, due to presidential behavior, a lot of key players were sold, but they are using their youth players and some of them deliver. Real Madrid tho currently sitting at 2nd place in a table, with game in hand, so potential first place is theirs to grab. They might not be the best attacking team in the league, but they have solid backline and still are winning games.

-1 player per team
-Overall rating of 77
-At least 3 rares
-At least 3 teams
-90 chemistry
What to invest in: Pretty simple: Spanish players. 2 players per team, just to be safe. Might not require even that, just La Liga players.
Benfica vs Braga
Only game that stood out for me in Liga NOS : 2nd place vs 3rd place, both teams are in good shape and this game can be used for that Silver Pack that we’re still getting every week.
Most likely requirements:
-3-4 player per league
-Overall rating of 70+
-At least 3 rares
-At least 3 teams
-90 chemistry
What to invest in: They wouldn’t probably require even players from specific clubs, just players from Liga NOS.
There are also few other games to highlight, but I don’t think they’ll be included.
