FIFA 21 Marquee Matchups Predictions: March 4th
Hey guys, it’s Tillian and it’s Marquee Matchups predictions for the another week of FUT.
Last week we’re finally back to 34 after 2 struggle weeks. Still missed a game tho, typical me. I dunno why they chose Belgium league game, but it is what it is. At least 3 right.
This week is going to be insane in terms of derbies. I expect at least 34 again, but can go all wrong.
We’ll see what happens this week, but I really want to hit 34 again.
Let’s do it:
Manchester City vs Manchester United
Yes, last week we got United in MMs – but I simply can’t ignore City vs United. 1st vs 2nd in Prem table, United playing really well away from home, City are just playing well and on insane winning run. This fixture reminds me of that 1718 season, where United were a lot of points behind City but still won vs them at Etihad with a nice performance from Smalldini and Pogba. We’ll see how it goes, but I doubt this game will be included, as United were in MMs last week.
Most likely requirements:
-1 player per team
-Team overall 80
-Overall Chemistry 80+
-At least 3 rares
-Max players per league: 4
What to invest in: Don’t go too hard on this fixture, as I’ve explained – just buy few players from Prem, incase they’ll include some different game from Prem.
Atletico Madrid vs Real MadridValencia vs Villarreal
2 nice fixtures from La Liga. Valencia vs Villarreal would be a great fixture some years ago, but Valencia struggling too much last few seasons. Villarreal need to win this fixture if they’re still aiming to get UCL for next season. But it’s going to be nearly impossible with 2 Madrid clubs, Barcelona and Sevilla performing well.
Madrid derby is very important for both teams – if Atletico will win – they’ll straighten their title chance – if lose – league wide open for grabs again. Very important and interesting game. Expect it to be really tight, so I don’t know how it’ll go. This game I expect to be a Marquee game with 80+ rating requirements

-3 player per league
-Overall rating of 77+80+
-At least 3 rares
-At least 3 teams
-90 chemistry
What to invest in: Buy few players from both clubs to be safe, someone that is 80 or higher and cheap. Decide for yourself – a lot of choices there.
Juventus vs Lazio
This tie is interesting for different reasons. At first – teams are close to each other in table, both battle for UCL spots. Lazio, despite mixed results lately – still perform well in big games, so you can expect a really close game. Juve can’t afford to lose if they want to chase Inter and even Milan. Juve dropped too many points to be considered title challengers, but if they lose this game – things can get interesting even in UCL race. Still expect this game to happen with a requirement of 77+ squad

-Overall rating of 77+
-At least 3 rares
-At least 3 teams
-90 chemistry
What to invest in: Any players from those clubs or just Serie A in general. Don’t think they’ll request something special for this game, because there is one more option for that.
Bayern Munich vs BVB
Der Klassiker this week – we’re surely getting it in MMs, right? Perfect game for this type of SBC, even Showdown SBC would be quite welcome for this fixture. Bayern are only 2 points ahead of Leipzig, so they kinda can’t afford to lose a lot of fixtures. BVB are currently 5th and 3 points behind 4th place Frankfurt. So for both teams it’s a must win game. So yeah, if this game is included – I expect it to be 7879 rated or higher requirement for this fixture.

-Overall rating of 79
-At least 3 rares
-At least 3 teams
-90 chemistry
What to invest in: Any Bayern or BVB players with decent rating and overall Buli players with some 79+ rating should be enough. Still don’t go too hard, because you know – EA might surprise us.
Melbourne City vs Melbourne Victory
Infamous fixture from good old days of Marquee Matchups, when investing in games like this was nearly always worth it. Back in the day they required players from those teams and they went extinct very fast.
This is wild guess of the week, so I can’t be sure if they’ll include it or not. But I’ll still hint it out. Just incase

-2-3 players from 1 league
-Overall rating of 66+
-At least 3 rares
-At least 3 teams
-90 chemistry
What to invest in: Buy 1-2 players from Australian league and be safe.
There are also few other games to highlight, but I don’t think they’ll be included.
