FIFA 21 Marquee Matchups Predictions: March 11th

Hey guys, it’s Tillian and it’s Marquee Matchups predictions for the another week of FUT.

Last week we’re again at 34. Some surprising games there, but at least I got it right with Melbourne derby. Let’s do some magic this week too and predict some stuff right.

Not a lot of top games this week, but we still have few games that stand out compared to others.

We’ll see what happens this week, but I really want to hit 34 again.

Let’s do it:

Arsenal vs Spurs
As expected – last week we didn’t get Manchester derby in MMs and we got midlands derby between Aston Villa and Wolves. So this week it’s perfect time for North London derby. Both teams had some struggles this season, but it seems like Spurs are on an uplift due to Bale performing well and overall Kane being in form. Arsenal improved too, but still sit in the middle of the table. This tie is crucial for both teams ambitions going to the closing part of the season. Should be a game for 80 rated team.

Most likely requirements:

-1 player per team
-Team overall 80
-Overall Chemistry 80+
-At least 3 rares
-Max players per league: 4

What to invest in: Any players from those teams. Preferably rare and higher rated. I doubt that those players will rise much, but overall should be a safe bet.

Sevilla vs Betis
Very nice fixture in La Liga. Derby between Sevilla and Betis. This time it should be really close. Betis found their form lately and now are sitting 6^th in table. Sevilla lost 2 last games, also lost in UCL and lost in the cup. So overall I’m expecting very close game. Should be really good to watch. Don’t expect high rating requirement for that just because Betis doesn’t have a lot of high rated players.

Most likely requirements:

-3 player per league
-Overall rating of 77+
-At least 3 rares
-At least 3 teams
-90 chemistry

What to invest in: Buy few players from both clubs to be safe, maybe fixture will be excluded, but still would recommend to watch it.

Milan vs Napoli
Teams are separated by 9 points, and have different goals at the moment, but it’s still important for both teams to win this game. For Milan – to still be in race for title, for Napoli – to still be in race for UCL spot. Only 3 points separate Napoli from 4^th place (and they have a game in hand, so they are basically level). Napoli played well recently, so I expect a close tie between those 2 teams. We’ll see what happens.

-2 player per league
-Overall rating of 77+
-At least 3 rares
-At least 3 teams
-90 chemistry

What to invest in: Any players from those clubs or just Serie A in general. Maybe this game will be excluded, but still I think game from Serie A will be included.

RB Leipzig vs Eintracht Frankfurt

Der Klassiker last week was excluded from Matchups, so this time I’m including a game between 2^nd and 4^th teams in table. Frankfurt found amazing form in 2021, while Leipzig just good. Leipzig are still only 2 points behind Bayern – so this tie is important for both teams. For Leipzig to be in title race and for Frankfurt to keep their UCL spot. I think it’s very nice game for MMs and I’ll be sad if it’ll be excluded.

Most likely requirements:

-1 player per each club
-Overall rating of 79
-At least 3 rares
-At least 3 teams
-90 chemistry

What to invest in: I don’t think there will be some special requirements, just typical Bundesliga squad with different nations and leagues.

AS Monaco vs Lille

There are 4 teams in title race for Ligue 1 title: Lille, PSG, Lyon and Monaco. 2 of them playing in this fixture. Lille are sitting 1^st in table with 2 points ahead of PSG, Monaco are 4^th, but both teams are playing very nice football this season. So this game will be close (at least I hope so) and it’s perfect game for Marquee Matchups. Yes, it’s not a derby, but it’s important fixture to a title race. I think if Monaco will lose – they won’t challenge other 3 teams, because the gap will be too big.

Most likely requirements:

-2-3 players from 1 league
-Overall rating of 76+
-At least 3 rares
-At least 3 teams
-90 chemistry

What to invest in: Buy few players from Ligue 1 and be safe. I’m not sure, again, if it’ll be included. But as I’ve said – it’s perfect timing to include game like this in MMs.

PSV vs Feyenoord

Last game in my predictions – both teams sit up top of the table. PSV still in title race (kinda, but 6 points behind Ajax) and Feyenoord are 5^th 2 points behind Vitesse and 3 points behind AZ. Mostly it’s kinda hyped game and it’s pure wildcard choice, so I don’t think it’ll be included. But you can buy few players from Netherlands to be safe and that’s all.

There are also few other games to highlight, but I don’t think they’ll be included.
