FIFA 21 Marquee Matchups Predictions: February 4th
Hey guys, it’s Tillian and it’s Marquee Matchups predictions for the another week of FUT.
A lot of hyped games this week, selecting this week’s MMs was a pleasure, because there are at least 4 good choices and I can say that 34 of them should get it in 99% of the times.
Obviously, I can be mistaken, but still I hope to get at least leagues right. At least lately I’ve been getting good results in MMs, so hopefully we’ll do it again.
Let’s do it:
Liverpool vs Manchester City
Liverpool vs Man City in my eyes is always a Marquee game. Even tho Liverpool are struggling a lot in recent weeks, their game vs City should be interesting and exciting to watch. Liverpool aren’t unbeaten on Anfield anymore, so we’ll see what will happen. City got their stuff together after rocky start, they have the best defense in the league and Ruben Dias, as people expected, improved them quite a lot. So yeah, despite latest Liverpool struggles – I think game still should be close and any outcome is possible.
Most likely requirements:
-1 player per team
-Team overall 80
-Overall Chemistry 80+
-At least 3 rares
-Max players per league: 4
What to invest in: Again, a lot of choices from those teams, but I’d aim at 80+ rare golds. Ruben Dias, Mendy, Keita – all of them should rise and worth something. Again, I think it’ll be a Marquee game of the week, so 80+ rating requirement will be a must.
Juventus vs Roma
Marquee game in Serie A. 2 non-licensed teams in Serie A this year in FUT, but despite that I think this game will be included. Juventus and Roma having different struggles this year in Serie A, but they are still rivals and game should be exciting. Both teams must win this game to achieve their goals – Juve to win Serie A and Roma to reach highest place as possible.
Most likely requirements:
-3 player per league
-Overall rating of 77+
-At least 3 rares
-At least 3 teams
-90 chemistry
What to invest in: Some players from those teams, preferably from different nations, as I’ve seen lately – requirements for Serie A are usually requesting more nations.
Olympic Marseille vs PSG
Huge game in Ligue 1 for different reasons. First game between them this season ended in OM victory that followed controversy between Neymar and Alvaro and that followed into game in a Cup Final that PSG won 1-0, so at the moment score between them is 1-1 and this will be interesting to watch to say at least. PSG are still contestants for title, while OM would be happy with UCL spot at the end of the season, but currently it’s up in the air due to Lyon, Lille and PSG being so far ahead. We’ll see how game will go, but I expect it to be very close.

-2 player per league
-Overall rating of 77+
-At least 3 rares
-At least 3 teams
-90 chemistry
What to invest in: Any players from those teams or Ligue 1 in general, but I’d buy few players from PSG just to be safe.
Borussia Monchengladbach vs Koln
Derby in Bundesliga. Even tho teams are on opposite sides of table – it’s still a huge game for both teams and despite them being on different level – everything can happen in games like this. Koln need points not to relegate, while Monchengladbach need points for their quest for UCL or at least UEL in general.
Most likely requirements:
-1 player per each club
-Overall rating of 76
-At least 3 rares
-At least 3 teams
-90 chemistry
What to invest in: Any players from those teams or Bundesliga. Wouldn’t go hard on them, just because it’s not very hyped game and can be excluded in general.
Fenerbahce vs Galatasaray Braga vs Porto
2 games from smaller leagues. Fener vs Gala should always be in, especially when both teams are back in action for the title. Fener struggled hard in recent years, but it seems like they are back and Galatasaray will aim to win Super Lig as per usual. Besiktas still ahead of them so any result but a win for both teams would further them away from 1st place.
Braga vs Porto is a bit less hyped games in Liga NOS. Braga is 4th force in Portugal and they are currently behind big trio, but games like this always get recognition and have a chance to be included in MMs. As per usual it’s a must win game for Porto, if they want to be in race for title.

-2-3 players from 1 league
-Overall rating of 75+
-At least 3 rares
-At least 3 teams
-90 chemistry
What to invest in: Any players from those teams, just to be safe. Just some players from Turkish League or Liga NOS and you’ll be safe, don’t go too hard.
There are also few other games to highlight, but I don’t think they’ll be included.
So yeah, that’s all for this week, hopefully it’ll be a good one, and I’ll get most of the games right.
