FIFA 21 Marquee Matchups Predictions: February 25th
Hey guys, it’s Tillian and it’s Marquee Matchups predictions for the another week of FUT.
Last week was kinda alright, but I didn’t expect PSV vs Vitesse game (even tho it’s understandable why, teams are close in table, so it’s all good, didn’t think it was Marquee enough tho).
This week – we have interesting games all over the world, I even included Russian League Derby, so there’re loads to watch.
We’ll see what happens this week, but I really want to hit 34 again.
Let’s do it:
Chelsea vs Manchester United
No Arsenal and no City in MMs, so it’s time for another London vs Manchester game. Chelsea are back on track due to new manager and everything, while United still kinda chasing City, so it should be very close and exciting game.
I couldn’t find any other option from Premier League, so this should be the game for 80+ rated requirement. Leeds vs Aston VillaLeicester vs Arsenal sound good too, but still Chelsea vs United stands out.
Most likely requirements:
-1 player per team
-Team overall 80
-Overall Chemistry 80+
-At least 3 rares
-Max players per league: 4
What to invest in: As per usual – few players from ChelseaUnited, preferably higher rated. You should be safe, as they might include Chelsea game in UCL MMs, so players will rise anyway.
Sevilla vs Barcelona
Teams sit 1 point between each other and both found amazing form in La Liga, but both had troubles in UCL. So, this game will be really interesting, also because Barcelona already lost to Sevilla in Cup. This is the only game that stands out to me in La Liga, so this should be a safe prediction.
Most likely requirements:
-3 player per league
-Overall rating of 77+
-At least 3 rares
-At least 3 teams
-90 chemistry
What to invest in: You can buy few players from each club, you could buy some unusual nations, so it’d be easier to hybrid.
OM vs OL
Olympic DerbyRivalry, despite Marseille struggles, should be in MMs. Every game for Lyon is a must win, because race for the title is close and they can’t afford to drop points. Marseille still got points and spots in table to fight for, so they wouldn’t want to lose this game, especially at home. What else to say: Marseille struggling a lot, with everything: football things and outside of football. AWB doesn’t want to coach them, fans vs president and so on so on. Lyon on other hand – having their best season in few of the last years. It’s probably the last season of Depay and Aouar in Lyon, so I expect them to make everything to bring title to their team.

-At least 3 teams
-90 chemistry
What to invest in: Any players from Ligue 1 game in general. They don’t require anything special in games like this, so you should be safe.
RB Leipzig vs Borussia Monchengladbach
After S04 vs BVB this week we might get a top top game between 2 teams that are participating in UCL from Bundesliga. They are separated by 11 points and Monchengladbach recently struggling, due to Rose announcement leaving for BVB, and overall they are kinda distant from UCL spot, but still I expect a really close and interesting game. Leipzig had a bad performance in UCL against Liverpool, but they still have a chance for 1st place, they just can’t afford to drop points again.
Most likely requirements:
-1 player per each club
-Overall rating of 76
-At least 3 rares
-At least 3 teams
-90 chemistry
What to invest in: Any Bundesliga players. So, if they’ll chose some different game – you’ll be safe. Preferably rares.
Lokomotiv vs CSKA Porto vs Sporting
2 games from off-leagues and for different reasons. Loko vs CSKA – Moscow derby, it’s the first game for both teams after big winter pause, so it’ll be really hyped. Loko struggling this year in the league, while CSKA near the top, but I expect really close game, despite standings in table.
Porto vs Sporting – got nothing to say apart from: 2nd vs 1st in Portugal league, I expect, if Sporting win this game – them become 99% champions, so Porto shouldn’t allow that to happen. Porto had few draws lately in the league, so that’s why they are sitting behind. Sporting exceeding everyone’s expectations, so it should be a very good game.

-Overall rating of 75+
-At least 3 rares
-At least 3 teams
-90 chemistry
What to invest in: Buy 1-2 players from Russian league and Liga NOS. We could see neither of those games, but at least 1 should be in.
There are also few other games to highlight, but I don’t think they’ll be included.
