FIFA 21 Marquee Matchups Predictions: 22nd of April
Hey guys, it’s Tillian and it’s Marquee Matchups predictions for the another week of FUT.
Last week, as expected, got pretty meh score in 24, I know that I included some random games and it’s my fault that result was average. I’ll try to make this week better, but again, as we get closer to the end of the season we might get some strange games. For example I couldn’t think that they’ll include Bordeaux vs Monaco. It was really one sided game and it wasn’t marquee or anything (in my opinion).
There are some big games in big leagues and some big games in smaller leagues. I tried to cover most of them, so let’s get to action.
Let’s do it:
Athletic Bilbao vs Atletico Madrid Villarreal vs Barcelona
Last week I tried to include Athletic Bilbao game versus Barcelona and it obviously didn’t work out, so I’m trying another week. This week we’re getting Atheltic vs Atletico and I think this game is very important, at least for Madrid club. Atletico can’t afford to drop points, so they’ll fight till the end for the title. And this is some sort of rivalry, so I hope it’ll be included.
2nd game is in the same boat as first: Barcelona can’t afford to lose games and Villarreal is really tough opponent. Villarreal had a great run of results lately and I think they’ll give a fight in this game. So yeah, if not 1st game then 2nd game should be included.
Most likely requirements:

-Overall Chemistry 80+
-At least 3 rares
-Max players per league: 4
What to invest in: Few players from La Liga would be enough for this requirement. Maybe they’ll require 1-2 players from each team, but I highly doubt that.
Wolfsburg vs BVB
Wolfsburg vs BVB sounds as important as Wolfsburg vs Eintracht Frankfurt, so yeah. I think if BVB won’t win this game – their chances at UCL for next season will be really low, like closer to 0%. Wolfsburg can get much closer to UCL with a win over BVB. So game with a lot of stakes, don’t miss out, it should be a great watch!

-At least 3 teams
-90 chemistry
What to invest in:Buy 1-2 players from each team and you should be set overall for this part of SBC.
Leeds vs Manchester United
Okay, Leeds vs Liverpool wasn’t marquee enough for last week, but I simply can’t ignore Leeds vs Manchester United. Historical rivalry that has 90% chance of being included in my opinion. It’s really good rivalry and last game between those 2 teams finished with United demolishing Leeds, so I guess Leeds would like to get a revenge for that fixture.

-2 player per league
-Overall rating of 78+
-At least 3 rares
-At least 3 teams
-90 chemistry
What to invest in: Any PL players, or just buy 1-2 players from Liverpool and Leeds to be safe. Same goes to Chelsea vs City game, but I don’t expect it to be included. Just because it’s not a final, but semi final.
Lyon vs Lille
One of the most important games in Ligue 1 in the rest of the rest of the season. Lille are 1st, Lyon are 4th, separated by few points. Every point dropped by those 2 teams is a win for PSG and Monaco. Overall title race in Ligue 1 is insane and I don’t know who comes up on top. We’ll see how this game goes, but don’t miss out, it should be a banger and it should be included 99%!

What to invest in: Get yourself 1-2 players from each team and get yourself overall players from Ligue 1 and you’ll be safe.
Ajax vs AZ
Another nice fixture in Eredivisie. I tend to exclude sometimes games like this, but not this time. 1st vs 3rd and they are separated by 10 points, but I think it’ll still have a chance to be included. What else to say: AZ fighting for 2nd spot versus PSV and Vitesse, while Ajax want to secure title as soon as possible. They just won National Cup, so double this season will be a success for them.

-At least 3 teams
-90 chemistry
What to invest in: Buy yourself few Dutch and few Eredivisie players.
Not as dull as last week and overall I hope we’ll get a good score this week. Fixtures fit for it, so let’s see how it goes!
