FIFA 21 Marquee Matchups Predictions: 15th of April

Hey guys, it’s Tillian and it’s Marquee Matchups predictions for the another week of FUT.

Somehow got 44 last week, so let’s try to repeat it this week. Last week we had a wider pool of games to choose from, so this time we gotta try harder. There are some obvious games, but this time I’m including cup games, so just in case we won’t get screwed, like 2 weeks ago with Sociedad vs Bilbao.

There are some big games in big leagues and some big games in smaller leagues. I tried to cover most of them, so let’s get to action.

Let’s do it:

Athletic Bilbao vs BarcelonaReal Sociedad vs Sevilla
Last week El Clasico was in MMs, so this week inclusion of Barca game is a bit weird, but it’s hard to ignore another cup final of Spanish Cup. Yes, nearly 2 in a row for Bilbao, so they gotta try their best not to lose 2^nd cup final in 2 weeks. This is Barcelona’s chance for redemption for Super Cup and also to win 1^st trophy of the season. It’s going to be interesting game and Marcelino (coach of Bilbao) already knows how to beat Barcelona in cup finals (with Valencia).

Overall, as Barca was included last week – it’s really low chance that this game will be included, so don’t go hard on it.

2^nd game is way more likely in my opinion. I guess 5^th vs 4^th is serious contender for Match of the week in La Liga. Sevilla currently sitting 4^th and have a big gap over 5^th place, but this game can change a lot of things depends on result. Think that this game is nearly a lock so yeah.

Most likely requirements:

-1 player per team
-Team overall 77+
-Overall Chemistry 80+
-At least 3 rares
-Max players per league: 4

What to invest in: Just buy few players from those clubs to be safe, but I doubt that this game will be included, as I’ve stated above. Other game is way more likely, so you can buy few players from those 2 clubs to be safe

Napoli vs Inter
Important game in Serie A. Both teams need to win to be in good position for their goals. Currently Inter are on a very good winning streak, while Napoli still has a chance at UCL spot. So for both teams it’s a must win game, I expect this game to be included with a high chance. What else to say about this fixture. I expect a very interesting tactical battle and overall few goals in it for sure.

-At least 3 rares
-At least 3 teams
-90 chemistry

What to invest in: Think this will be a marquee game this week and I think they’ll require players from 1 player from each team.

Chelsea vs Manchester City Leeds vs Liverpool
1^st game is cup game, FA cup semi final, so it has chance to be included, but depends on how they’ll go with it. Maybe this time they’ll ignore it, so there’s a 2^nd game to go with: Leeds vs Liverpool. I think it’s possible that it’ll be included, mostly due to how hyped game it should be. Last fixture between them ended 4-3, so I expect a lot of goals again, even tho both teams stabilized their defenses. Also, only 1 win left for Fabinho HL upgrade, if anyone cares.

Most likely requirements:

-2 player per league
-Overall rating of 78+
-At least 3 rares
-At least 3 teams
-90 chemistry

What to invest in: Any PL players, or just buy 1-2 players from Liverpool and Leeds to be safe. Same goes to Chelsea vs City game, but I don’t expect it to be included. Just because it’s not a final, but semi final.

Istanbul Basaksehir vs Fenerbahce

Yeah yeah, another Turkish league game from me. I think it has some sort of chance to be included, because for Fener – every game is important and Istanbul didn’t guarantee their safety yet too. Turkish league this season is very exciting and race on top of the league is very fun to watch as a neutral. At the moment Besiktas has an edge over other teams, but with every fixture it can be changed. It’s just mad to me that last year’s champion can be relegated this year. Overall sounds impossible.

What to invest in: It’s wild card option so don’t go too hard on it, just buy few players from Turkey and be safe.
Very dull week to be fair, it’s getting closer to the end of the season, games should be more exciting, but sometimes it’s just hard to choose.

I hope we’ll get at least 24, and I’ll be satisfied this week. Let’s see how it goes, then.
