FIFA 21 Eredivisie TOTS Predictions

This is going to be smaller article compared to top 5 leagues, but I did some research and actually asked people who watch a lot more Eredivisie than me.

So yeah, I hope we’ll get Eredivisie TOTS and we’ll get somewhat close to what I predict.

Let’s run down this season.

Ajax sitting comfortably first in table and compared to last year they had no real competition. They had few struggles in Winter, but then they found their form and are ahead of 2nd placed AZPSV by 11 points with a game in hand. Should easily win championship and be crowned champions in May, or maybe even earlier. Of course most of players in TOTS will be from Ajax, as they are statistically the best in the league. Even tho their main GK got banned in Winter for doping – they are still doing great and conceded a lot less goals than any other team in the league.

2nd place is important in Eredivisie. Team that gets 2nd gets into UCL qualifiers and so race between 34 teams for that spot is huge. Currently PSV sitting at 2nd place. They made some interesting transfers during last summer transfer window, but AZ aren’t far away from them. AZ lead by one of the most exciting players in Eredivisie as a whole – Teun Koopmeiners and boy he’s been good this season. For sure he’ll get TOTS. Vitesse, after changing manager last year are now 4th with some great performers in the team. For example Richerdly Bazoer (some may remember him from Wolfsburg, he was going to be a good youngster, but he had issues with character, so it didn’t work out in Bundesliga). Vitesse are only 3 points away from AZPSV, but I think there’s a very slim chance that they’ll take that 2nd spot. Feyneoord struggling this season, even tho Steven Berghuis performing amazingly another year. I watched few of their games and sometimes they just can’t score. Draws vs lower rated teams and losses against their main opponent hurt.

After that we have Groningen, Utrecht and Twente. They are battling for UEL spot, but in Eredivisie there’s actually a play-off for 2nd UEL spot between 4th and 7th spot, so it’ll be interesting to see who ends up in EL from Eredivisie.

I included some players from lower-rated teams, but I couldn’t ignore for example Giorgos Giakoumakis from VVV-Venlo, who are sitting at 16th. Greek forward scored 24 goals in 25 games. Whole team scored 39 goals and he managed to score 24 of them. This overall sounds insane to me.

Overall, I think, I’ll cover most standout players from this season than going 1 by 1, compared to big TOTS and then will show you list, how I do with TOTWs for all 18 players.

Dusan Tadic had another great year in Ajax. 13 goals and 12 assists, multiple TOTW appearances and overall leader of the team. He undoubtedly will get TOTS with some really decent stats. And while we’re speaking about leaders of the team: Teun Koopmeiners from AZ, as I’ve mentioned before, will get 1 really good TOTS too: 15 goals and 5 assist for him and he’s a midfielder!

Finding wingers were that hard: Antony from Ajax and Steven Berghuis from Feynoord both should get TOTS. Antony had good first season in Eredivisie with 8 goals and 8 assists and should get a nicely boosted TOTS from his Future Stars card.

Berghuis had another completely amazing season for Feyenoord with 15 goals and 10 assists to his name. He even now plays well in National team too, which is nice to see!

Finding defenders was kinda easy and hard at the same time. I’ve had 2 candidates for Left Back spot: Philipp Max from PSV, who had very productive first year for PSV with 5 goals and 7 assists and more defensive option in Nico Tagliafico. I decided to include Max, because Tagliafico was in other TOTS.

CB pairing was obvious to people who I asked: as per usual Daley Blind from Ajax who had another great year (and Ajax conceded least amount of goals in the league) and Marcos Senesi from Feyenoord. Feyenoord didn’t concede a lot of goals, they kept 10 clean sheets so far and Senesi got to his name 3 goals and 2 assists from CB spot. I think on the bench I have Ko Itakura from Groningen, who was really solid this year. Groningen kept 9 CS this season and Ko is on loan there from Man City, but overall performed fantastically and having really good average rating and he scored 1 goal too. Also other option is Lisandro Martinez from Ajax. He played not the most amount of games in the league, but when he played – he was fantastic. He got 3 goals and 1 assist. Sometimes he played CDM, but most of the time CB

On the right – I have Denzel Dumfries. It’s a bit biased choice, as people said that he wasn’t that good this year, but I feel like he’s too popular in FUT to ignore. 1 goal and 5 assists this season for him, and he had some average matches, but I still feel like he’ll get TOTS. Lutsharel Geertruida from Feyenoord is another choice. He statistically had a better season than Dumfries, so I feel like he has a chance too. He got 5 goals and 2 assists this season.

Strikers are easy to choose to me: as I’ve mentioned Giakoumakis is a lock and 2nd option is Malen from PSV with 15 goals and 6 assists. I was going to include Myron Boadu from AZ too, but 5 of his goals came against 1 opponent and 12 goals overall sound not so great, but overall I won’t be surprised if he’ll get some sort of Moments card, as it seems like he’s fan favorite player from Eredivisie this season (because of pace and 5* WF in FUT).

Who I forgot to mention… Gravenberch from Ajax seems like will get TOTS. Consistently good performances for this young midfielder over the season and feels like he missed on Future Stars, so hopefully he’ll get TOTS.

Vloet from Heracles should get TOTS with 13 goals and 4 assists, should be a decent card and he really deserved TOTS too. I also included Joey Veerman from Herenveen who looked like he was really consistent this year as central midfielder and scored 7 goals and got 7 assists, so he’ll get a decent TOTS in my opinion too.

Of course it may vary with official TOTS that we’ll get, but I included mix of popular and deserved players, to get closer to reality. Hopefully I managed that and hopefully you’ll enjoy this article too.
